Title: What Is a Rainy-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on the National Art Center and Mori Museum The guests were a group from North America, visiting Japan for a trip. Since the booking was made through a travel agency, detailed information had apparently not been passed on to me, and because it rained in the morning, the guests asked to visit an indoor museum, so we headed to the National Art Center, Tokyo and the Mori Museum in the morning on short notice. In the afternoon the rain cleared, so we returned to the originally planned route and continued the tour. At the end, one of the guests quietly said to me, "Thank you for guiding us so patiently today. It was a lot of fun." I felt relieved to hear it. I could only wish the group lasting happiness.

What Does a Private Kyoto Day Tour Cover? A Licensed Guide's Report on Arashiyama, Kiyomizu-dera, and Fushimi Inari The guests were visitors from North America. It was their first time in Japan and in Kyoto. The tour started at 12:00, and I took them to Arashiyama, Kiyomizu-dera, and Fushimi Inari Taisha, finally guiding them to Gion as a place for dinner before parting ways. Compared to a few days earlier, it was not so cold, and although the travel time took a while, I think it was a very comfortable tour in terms of weather. However, the walking distance was quite long (about 25,000 steps), so the guests may have been quite tired. The guests mentioned that Kiyomizu-dera and the bamboo grove in Arashiyama were among their favorites.

Title: What Is a Private Family Day Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Meiji Shrine, and Shibuya The guests were on their first family trip to Japan, visiting from Oceania. During the tour, I also guided them on how to transfer between subway lines and how to check exits. Unfortunately it was a cold, rainy day, and since the guests' socks got wet at Senso-ji Temple, we stopped to purchase new socks along the way. By the time we visited Meiji Shrine the rain had stopped, and we happened to be able to see many portable shrines as well as marching drums and flutes for the Kigensai Festival, which the guests greatly enjoyed. In Shibuya, since the guests were interested in anime and games, after lunch I guided them past MAGNET and MODI and took them to the Nintendo Shop in PARCO. With about 30 minutes still remaining, and with the guests' agreement, we ended the tour. They said they planned to enjoy shopping in the afternoon.

What's a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like with Asakusa, Harajuku, Shibuya, and Shibamata? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America who came to Japan for the first time. In addition to Asakusa, Harajuku, and Shibuya, they expressed a wish to visit places that retain Japan's historical and cultural elements, so I guided them to Shibamata, which they enjoyed very much. While in Shibamata, I explained the "Otoko wa Tsurai yo" film series, and when I told them that although the lead actor passed away 30 years ago, fans still visit this place to this day, they seemed to love it and asked me to take a photo of them together with the statue of Tora-san. It was their first day after arriving in Japan, but the weather was fine, and I believe they were able to fully enjoy themselves.

Can You Do a Private One-Day Tour of Tokyo by Public Transport? A Licensed Guide's Report It was a busy day, but the weather was good and the tour went smoothly. We started by purchasing a 24-hour subway pass at Shinjuku Station. At Asakusa, the guests showed interest in various shops. There were many questions about religion. At Ueno Toshogu Shrine, they were amazed by its magnificence. At Tokyo Station, since the guests were heading to Nagano the next day, I showed them the Shinkansen platforms and related information. I guided them at a fish market shop in Tsukiji, but there were announcements telling guides not to stop, which was somewhat unpleasant. We bought a pack of tekkamaki at a shop and ate it on the rooftop, which was very well received. I thought it was a great value at 1,000 yen. We visited Meiji Shrine, and as time was up, the tour ended at the entrance of Takeshita Street. Tip received.

What's a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report Today's guests were a group visiting from North America. It had been drizzling since morning, but since we traveled by car, the rain was not much of a concern and we were able to carry out the tour smoothly. The guests live in a region with many Japanese restaurants, and they especially love ramen. To enjoy their ramen, they had purchased chopsticks engraved with their own names. At their request, we parted ways at Nishiki Market at the end of the tour. They mentioned they would be heading to Osaka the next day.

Title: What Can You See on a Private Kobe Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report from Japan Guide Agency Body: [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guides led a private tour of Kobe for guests visiting from Asia. One of the guests enjoyed photography and frequently took pictures not only at the main sightseeing spots but also throughout the streets. Because some of the guests grew a little tired and needed frequent restroom breaks, the tour ran considerably over the planned time. The guests listened attentively to the guide's explanations at each spot and asked many thoughtful, in-depth questions. On the way to the Kitano Ijinkan district at the start, one of the guests spotted a café displaying a national flag, and upon inquiring, learned that the owner was from the same region, leading to a fond and nostalgic conversation. In the Kitano Ijinkan area, the guests were delighted to try a soft-serve ice cream that had been reported as "the best in Japan." They were also very interested in the nearby Starbucks, which occupies a Meiji-era former residence designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property and features a logo different from the standard one. The guests had been looking forward to the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, and they explored it with great interest. They also enjoyed the tasting and purchased many souvenirs. I presented them with a handmade drawstring pouch made by my sister, which they were very pleased to receive. For a late lunch, the guests wished to try Kobe beef, so I guided them to a restaurant I recommended, where we parted ways. The guests planned to watch a football match at Noevir Stadium Kobe afterward, so I explained the route. Both were very pleasant, and they warmly invited me to join them for the meal. They also expressed a strong wish to visit Himeji next time and said they would like to request me as their guide, which I found very gratifying.

    Dear my guests,

This is (Mr.) Yama, greeting from Kobe, Japan.
I would like to warmly welcome you to Japan this time. I am from the city of Kobe, which is of course, well-known for very tasty Kobe Beef . You can taste
real genuine Kobe Beef here. Kobe is also called “Home of Japanese Sake” with lots of Sake breweries, and I recommend you would visit those breweries
if you have any interest in Japanese Sake as well as one aspect of Japanese cultures. Of course, you can have tastings of various kinds of Sake there.

Whenever during the tour, I always try to make it safe, pleasant and comfortable for all of the guests, which is my first priority. I am very much confident
that you can have a pleasant and unforgettable experience in Japan. Just tell me about your preference; what you would like to like to see, have, know
and eat and so on. Particularly, I hold the license for cooking qualified by the government here and maybe, I can reply you for questions related to the
foods here. In this respect, I strongly recommend you would try not only famous Japanese cuisine such as Sushi, Tempura or Suki-yaki but some
Japanese traditional local foods, like Tako-yaki, Okonomi-yaki and Kushkatsu. They are sometimes called the soul foods of Japan. Here is the brief
    explanation for these three foods.

    1) Tako-yaki
Tako-yaki is a snack filled with pieces of octopus in a batter of flour , egg and soup stock. You can call them octopus dumplings or balls. “Tako” means
octopus and “yaki” means grilled or broiled.
    2) Okonomi-yaki
This word Okonomi-yaki means “cook just as you like” and you can use whatever you like as toppings, such as beef, pork, shrimp, squid and octopus.
Okonomi-yaki is round shape and just like pancakes or pizza in shape mainly made from egg, flour and water.
    3) Kushi-katsu
Kushi-katsu is skewered cutlet or deep-fried foods on a stick. “Kushi” means skewer and “katsu” means cutlet. Various kinds of foods are used for
ingredients such as beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, squid, octopus and lots of kinds of vegetables.

Actually, the western Japan including Osaka, Kobe and Himeji is called as “Home of such local soul foods”. You should give it a try and I am sure
that you like them very much.

I sincerely hope that I can be your tour guide this time in Kobe, Osaka and Himeji. If my guests said to me after the tour, “I have had a very good
and pleasant time with you today. I hope I can come here again and name you as our guide”, which is my great pleasure. Moreover, I would be
great honored if they say “I like Japan now thanks to you”.

Looking forward to meeting you soon here.

Title: What's a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests came to Japan from North America. They were very enthusiastic about taking photographs. Some of the guests were particular about how their photos were taken, which took quite a bit of time. The guests chatted a great deal, which made it tricky to find the right moment to introduce each site. After Kinkaku-ji, we were running quite short on time, so we used a taxi from Kinkaku-ji to Nishioji-Oike subway station, and from Higashiyama-Sanjo to Kiyomizu-michi. Thanks to this, we finished the tour on schedule. Unlike the previous day, it was a warm day, but some snow still remained in parts of Arashiyama and around Kinkaku-ji. Photos were taken at the bamboo grove in Arashiyama.

I really enjoyed showing them around Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Himeji, and Hiroshima. I have been a professional tour guide for about 8 years. I always try to let my guests learn Japanese traditional and modern culture. Since I was born in Kyoto, I know a lot about its culture and people. I myself enjoyed several sports, such as soccer, judo, and marathon when I was young. I’m much interested in baseball and sumo. My motto as a tour guide is to let my guests learn about our tradition and culture precisely and really enjoy themselves. I strongly hope you will enjoy the tour in Japan with me.

What Is a Private Winter Tour of Sapporo Like During the Snow Festival? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America. At the time, the Snow Festival was being held mainly around Odori Park, and this Sapporo tour was arranged with that event in mind. Since the guests could visit the Snow Festival venue at Odori Park on their own later, I guided them to other sightseeing spots in central Sapporo. When I asked about their lunch preference, they said that since they had come all the way to Japan, they wanted Japanese food, so I tried to make a reservation at a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine. During the Snow Festival, many tourists visit the area, so I expected dining spots to be quite crowded, but perhaps because this restaurant was not so well known among tourists, we were able to dine at the time we hoped for. Finally, I took the guests to Susukino, another venue of the Snow Festival, and guided them to the ice sculpture exhibition held there, bringing the tour to a close.

I was born and raised in Hokkaido and have been a resident of Sapporo for over 30 years. I have been actively involved in guiding tourists around the scenic spots of Hokkaido, primarily focusing on Sapporo. Even before becoming a licensed interpreter guide, I engaged in volunteer activities to assist and guide foreigners, providing me with valuable opportunities to delve into the rich culture and history of Hokkaido.
Hokkaido is renowned for its exceptional culinary scene, and I am well-versed in gourmet information. I believe I can offer an excellent experience by guiding individuals through the highly acclaimed food experiences that Hokkaido has to offer.

Title: What's a Private One-Day Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Shibuya and Asakusa The guests came from Oceania and had traveled around Kyoto, Nara, Sendai, and Nikko, spending their final week in Japan in Tokyo. I had received advance information that their goals for the day were to meet Hachiko in Shibuya and take a photo together, and to enjoy matcha ice cream at a tea house in Asakusa. Both were accomplished, so I believe they were very satisfied. In contrast to the rainy conditions of the previous day, we were blessed with wonderful weather, and I believe the guests were able to fully enjoy the tour.

Hi, I am Nobu, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter (English).
I have been an English guide in Tokyo area since January 2017.
Tokyo is a wonderful city, and you may enjoy this city by yourselves.
Even so, I recommend you go around with a guide, especially if it is your first time visit to Tokyo.
A good guide will help you to understand about Tokyo and Japan as well as how to use convenient but complicated public transportations more effectively.
I am glad if I can help you to make your tour more enjoyable.
I am looking forward to meeting you in Tokyo soon!
