Title: What Is a Private Guided Day Tour of Takayama Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

We traveled from a bus stop near the hotel to the first destination by city loop bus. At that point the guests learned how to ride the bus and how to pay the fare, and they seemed to enjoy it. At Hida no Sato, the guests observed traditional daily life and old-time work with great interest, and for lunch the guide accompanied them to enjoy local cuisine, explaining the region's distinctive ingredients and dishes as they ate. After lunch we had planned to visit the Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall, but after discussion we changed the plan to a craft-making experience in line with the guests' wishes.

During the tour, I heard that the guests planned to travel to their next destination, Kanazawa, by JR. When I suggested that traveling by highway bus would also be convenient, they were grateful, as it would greatly reduce the number of times they would need to transfer their luggage.
