Can You Do a Private Walking Tour of Hiroshima? A Licensed Guide's Report Two guests from Oceania. Because the guests had attached their own photo to a message beforehand, meeting up went very smoothly. They live in a small town in a rural part of Oceania. It came across as a relaxed countryside atmosphere, which made for a very pleasant tour. Perhaps due to the season, the frozen bottled drinks had disappeared from the convenience stores. Though it was early autumn, Hiroshima was scorching hot 💦

Originally, I’m a cycling guide doing cycling tours all over Japan.
But, already done Hiroshima & Miyajima tour more than 400 times.
I traveled many countries in my younger days. I traveled Europe, US, China, India, US, Mexico, Peru Australia, NZ, and so on.
I decided to use this experience to become a guide.
I’m afraid but no tipping required, because cycling guides are not allowed to have tipping in my association. And you do not need to pay for my lunch, because my lunch is prepared by our group.
Please do not hesitate to ask me anything, I’ll change the plan according to your requests.
Thank you for your understanding and please stay connected.

Title: What Do Guests Ask on a Private Hakone Day Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report 1. One of the guests shared having previously worked in public service in Oceania. 2. The guest asked whether crime rates in Japan are low. 3. The guest mentioned that people in Oceania also keep pets they treasure like family. 4. The guest said they do not answer phone calls from unknown numbers. 5. The guest noted that there are also predatory lenders targeting elderly people in Oceania. 6. The guest asked why some people take their own lives, wondering whether financial problems are a cause. 7. The guest asked whether elderly people in Japan live on a pension, and how much they receive on average. 8. The guest mentioned that a relative had renovated an old Japanese house and rents it to tourists during the winter to earn income. 9. The guest said they preferred Hakone here, finding Tokyo too crowded. 10. The guest mentioned having bought a car and driven 180,000 km in three years, rarely using the railways, and remarked that Japanese cars are quite small. 11. The guest said they did not understand Japanese car license plates — the vehicle class codes with two or three digits, the 300, 500, and 400 series, and the different colors. They had asked people about it before but had not received an explanation. Now they understood the reason, and thanked me.

Hello, welcome to Japan you all.

I’m a resident of Ebina, Kanagawa, and am a national government licensed guide and interpreter.
I enjoy showing travelers both the new and old of central Honshu, primarily Tokyo and Kanagawa, ranging from Meiji Shrine, Edo Castle, Tsukiji Outer Market, Ueno, Asakusa, Ginza, Ginza Sky Farmstead, Shibuya Zebra Crossings, Yokohama, Kamakura, to Hakone, not to mention Mt. Fuji, and sharing views with my guests on Japanese homes and their surroundings, Japan’s labor productivity and labor market, among others.

I also enjoy introducing travelers to Japanese culture through home visits with Japanese families, touring Zen temples, and explaining the intricacies of Japanese culture.

I am happy to arrange personalized tours to other places of your interest.
I am making the most of my long experience as a foreign language education service, escorting VIPs at the Sony showroom in Ginza, Tokyo.
I also offer services to help families and individuals relocating to Japan with immigration VISA applications.

My hobbies are movies, strolling along the river in my neighborhood and am a novice at la lingua Italiano.
Let’s enjoy touring together, shall we?

    • 13:30 @ Himeji Castle
    • 15:15 @ Mt. Shosha ⇒ Engyoji Temple
    • 17:00 Disband @ Hotel Himeji

Title: What Is a 4-Hour Private Tour of Himeji Castle and Engyoji Temple Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were part of a group, and one member walked slowly and preferred a gentler pace, so the tour proceeded at a somewhat relaxed speed. Although the itinerary had been agreed upon in advance, on the day itself the guests requested to skip everything except Himeji Castle and instead visit Mount Shosha and Engyoji Temple. I explained that combining Himeji Castle and Engyoji Temple would be difficult within a 4-hour tour due to time constraints, but the guests were very keen to go, even saying it would be fine to end the tour at the ropeway station if necessary. I told them that if both the castle and Engyoji Temple were kept to brief visits, I could manage to accompany them, and we started the tour. I felt that the guests were less interested in the details of each spot and more focused on simply visiting each location and taking photos. It turned out to be a very hurried tour, but at the end they kindly invited me to join them for a drink, which made me believe they were reasonably satisfied. As a note, the SUICA card the guests were using had insufficient balance when getting off the city bus. (They had confirmed beforehand that the balance was sufficient.)

    Dear my guests,

This is (Mr.) Yama, greeting from Kobe, Japan.
I would like to warmly welcome you to Japan this time. I am from the city of Kobe, which is of course, well-known for very tasty Kobe Beef . You can taste
real genuine Kobe Beef here. Kobe is also called “Home of Japanese Sake” with lots of Sake breweries, and I recommend you would visit those breweries
if you have any interest in Japanese Sake as well as one aspect of Japanese cultures. Of course, you can have tastings of various kinds of Sake there.

Whenever during the tour, I always try to make it safe, pleasant and comfortable for all of the guests, which is my first priority. I am very much confident
that you can have a pleasant and unforgettable experience in Japan. Just tell me about your preference; what you would like to like to see, have, know
and eat and so on. Particularly, I hold the license for cooking qualified by the government here and maybe, I can reply you for questions related to the
foods here. In this respect, I strongly recommend you would try not only famous Japanese cuisine such as Sushi, Tempura or Suki-yaki but some
Japanese traditional local foods, like Tako-yaki, Okonomi-yaki and Kushkatsu. They are sometimes called the soul foods of Japan. Here is the brief
    explanation for these three foods.

    1) Tako-yaki
Tako-yaki is a snack filled with pieces of octopus in a batter of flour , egg and soup stock. You can call them octopus dumplings or balls. “Tako” means
octopus and “yaki” means grilled or broiled.
    2) Okonomi-yaki
This word Okonomi-yaki means “cook just as you like” and you can use whatever you like as toppings, such as beef, pork, shrimp, squid and octopus.
Okonomi-yaki is round shape and just like pancakes or pizza in shape mainly made from egg, flour and water.
    3) Kushi-katsu
Kushi-katsu is skewered cutlet or deep-fried foods on a stick. “Kushi” means skewer and “katsu” means cutlet. Various kinds of foods are used for
ingredients such as beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, squid, octopus and lots of kinds of vegetables.

Actually, the western Japan including Osaka, Kobe and Himeji is called as “Home of such local soul foods”. You should give it a try and I am sure
that you like them very much.

I sincerely hope that I can be your tour guide this time in Kobe, Osaka and Himeji. If my guests said to me after the tour, “I have had a very good
and pleasant time with you today. I hope I can come here again and name you as our guide”, which is my great pleasure. Moreover, I would be
great honored if they say “I like Japan now thanks to you”.

Looking forward to meeting you soon here.
    Doomo Arigato Gozaimasu!

What's a Full-Day Private Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report Covering Tsukiji, Asakusa, Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, Akihabara, and Shibuya The guests were visiting Japan for the first time and wanted to see as many major sights as possible. After deciding on the plan, they mentioned that they wanted to pick up tickets at a set time in Harajuku and had reserved tickets for Shibuya Sky at 15:20, so we kept strictly to the schedule throughout. At Tsukiji, they enjoyed daifuku and tuna. They said the five-story pagoda at Sensoji Temple and the forest of Meiji Shrine were beautiful. Since they loved sushi, we went to a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant on Takeshita Street, and they were very pleased. They also wanted to visit an animal cafe. Afterwards, in Akihabara they purchased character figures as souvenirs, took photos with the Hachiko statue in Shibuya, and we ended the tour. I believe they enjoyed themselves.

They requested Tokyo Tower, and since one of them had an interest in architecture, they watched the video about the construction of Tokyo Tower very carefully. They were deeply moved, saying it gave them a clear sense of the spirit and skill of the workers on site during Japan's postwar reconstruction. At Zojoji Temple and Sensoji Temple, I explained Japanese religion, both Shinto and Buddhism, and they seemed to understand it well. We only stopped briefly in Akihabara, but one of the guests liked it so much that they left the tour at Ueno and headed straight back to Akihabara. My name is Kris,
Before becoming a tour guide, I worked for a major steelmaking company as an engineer for many years. During my career, I lived and worked in both Germany and the United States for a total of five years. These experiences helped me understand different cultures and ways of thinking, which now helps me connect easily with guests from around the world.

After retirement, I chose a second career as a tour guide because I truly enjoy meeting people from different countries and sharing Japanese culture, history, and daily life. I have been working as a guide for more than nine years and continue to enjoy every tour.

I currently live in Tokyo, but I was born and raised in Kobe, near Osaka, and my family roots are in Kyoto. As a result, I have extensive knowledge not only of Tokyo but also of Kyoto, Osaka, and many other parts of Japan. I enjoy introducing both famous landmarks and hidden local gems that many visitors might otherwise miss.

I am energetic, friendly, and very sociable. I always try to create tours that are relaxed, flexible, and tailored to my guests’ interests.

Travel is one of my greatest passions, especially visiting hot spring resorts. I have visited more than 80 onsen destinations throughout Japan, giving me a deep appreciation of Japanese culture and regional traditions.

Whether you are visiting Japan for the first time or returning for another adventure, I would be delighted to help you discover the real Japan from a local perspective.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you create wonderful memories in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and beyond.

    See you in Japan!

Title: What Is a Private Hakone Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America. Since only the travel agency's information had been provided, the guest's name and accommodation details could not be confirmed at the hotel, so I consulted [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) about it. The guests were in a very cheerful and joyful mood throughout the day. I was asked to take snapshots at various spots, so it felt like I served as a photographer for the whole day. I made a quick congratulatory board and even had a staff member from a Japanese restaurant join in so I could take a photo for them. At the Hakone Checkpoint, a reenactment play of a checkpoint inspection happened to be performed, which made for an enjoyable spectacle. As they mentioned wanting to have a few children, I joked that they should come back to Japan within five years, and we parted ways.

What Is a Private Kyoto Walking Tour Like in Summer? A Licensed Guide's Report Kyoto exceeded 35 degrees Celsius today, with temperatures that felt like the height of midsummer. The guest was visiting from North America, and appeared quite tired when climbing the slope up to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Several groups this summer had been overwhelmed by the heat and had to cut their tours short and return, so I made sure to find shady spots for rest along the way and managed to keep the tour going until the end. I am glad we were able to complete the tour as planned all the way through. The guest mentioned wanting to return early because of a dinner reservation, so we parted ways 30 minutes ahead of schedule.

Half-Day Private Mystery Tour in Japan: What's It Like? A Licensed Guide's Report Continuing from the previous day, I guided the same guests who were visiting Japan. One of the guests had a keen interest in hospitality, so it was a day full of anticipation as to whether I could satisfy the guests with Japanese-style hospitality. This trip to Japan had been entirely planned by one of the guests, and today's itinerary was arranged as a mystery tour, with the destinations kept a complete secret from the other guest. Visiting Japan had been on the bucket list, and the guests seemed to thoroughly enjoy the mystery tour.

Hello (Konnichiwa). My name is Masanori SUGANO. Most of my friends call me Bruce, so you can call me Bruce. It would be my pleasure to act as a guide for you as I have been a guide for over twenty years. I curate my tours to suit your quest for knowledge and make you laugh with Dad jokes as an ice breaker. What Is a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Arashiyama and Fushimi Inari The guests were a group visiting from the Middle East. Since they were staying in Osaka, we met at Katsura Station on the Hankyu Line. As they could only eat certified food, I had confirmed with them in advance and reserved a set meal at a restaurant that offers appropriate options. When we arrived, one of the guests disliked vegetables but could eat meat, so we added an Omi beef bowl to the order. I felt I should have confirmed the details a little more carefully beforehand. After that, we visited Tenryu-ji Temple, the Bamboo Grove path, and Fushimi Inari. I received many questions related to religion.
