This was our first visit to Tokyo, and our tour with Koba made the experience truly exceptional. We’re a family of four with two teenage boys (14 and 16), and Koba was wonderfully kind, patient, and engaging with each of us. The experience started even before we arrived—his first communications laid out a thoughtful, customized itinerary that perfectly matched our interests as first-time visitors. Our six hours together were full, seamless, and incredibly rewarding. Koba’s deep knowledge of the city, his attention to detail, and his warm, easygoing approach made the tour an ideal fit for our family. It was the perfect way to get a broad yet meaningful introduction to Tokyo in a short time. We’re so grateful he was our guide and highly recommend him to anyone visiting the city.

Koba was so nice to my family and I. He was patient and helped carry a large toy my daughter won. I wished we had another day. Having a guide saved us hours of navigating the subway and metro.

Mr Akey showed me an amazing time in Hakone. He planned out a very detailed itinerary based completely on my interests. The hot spring onsen was just what I needed to relax after long travel and a day of walking around the day before. I was hesitant to do the ropeway due to my fear of heights, but am so glad I went. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and I was lucky enough to have a clear enough day to get some incredible views of Mt Fuji. Highly recommend.

You can tailor make this to anything you want and the guide delivered exactly what we asked for, along with some extras and very good commentary to explain it all. Only thing is be prepared to travel on subway which can take some time, so make sure what you want to see is geographically close to maximise your sight-seeing.

Miho was an amazing tour guide. She was able to give us a history lesson along with seeing the great sights of Japan. We chose 3 locations and she researched them for us. Taking this tour day one of our trip made getting around the subway system so much better as Miho showed us what to do. Old recommend this tour 100%. Ask for Miho!

Fun day out with Miho
We had a great time exploring the city with Miho! She was very informative and a joy to walk the city with. She accommodated us with our itinerary and gave us great tips for our time in Tokyo. The full day flew by learning about Japanese history and Tokyo culture. She knows English very well and has a wealth of knowledge. She also took so many great pictures of us with the cherry blossom trees and suggested we visit certain locations that we hadn’t considered, which turned out to be highlights of our trip (Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, the Asakusa Observatory, and Inui Street). We could not recommend her enough!

We originally booked a tour with Mac but had to reschedule due to the weather. We want to make sure to include them in our praise?they were very responsive, flexible, and courteous before and during the rescheduling, and we’re sure we would have had a great time with them as well!

If you are going to be in Tokyo, we definitely recommend booking a full-day guided tour. You will learn a lot (and walk a lot!) and take home some great pictures!

Great tour of the Shizuoka sights
Even though we did not actually get to see Mount Fuji due to the July heat and humidity, this half day excursion was well worth it. The Shizuoka region has a lot to offer beyond mountain views, and our knowledgeable guide Yasu took us on an a memorable tour of shrines and temples, Tokugawa Ieasu’s burial site, shopping areas, and Japanese gardens; all surprisingly quiet without a lot of tourists. We also had a lovely lunch at a small restaurant. If you do not mind walking quite a bit, this tour is a great way to see the sights of Shizuoka.

We had the pleasure of exploring Shimizu with Yasu as our guide, and he made our visit truly unforgettable.

Yasu was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and traditions of the area. Every stop came to life through his detailed explanations and fascinating stories. He took us to beautiful temples and a stunning Japanese garden, making sure we understood the significance and history behind each place.

What impressed us most was his patience and kindness. We were traveling with our 10-year-old daughter, and he did a wonderful job keeping her engaged throughout the day, making the tour enjoyable for our entire family. He was flexible, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our experience special.

By the end of the tour, it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. We only wish we had more time to explore Shimizu. We sincerely hope to return one day and have Yasu as our guide again.

Our guide Yasu and his taxi driver were very informative as we explored some of the famous places. They Yasu show us a great view of Mount Fugi. He then gave us the history of the shrine and Buddhist temple. After a delicious lunch of Japanese food we went to a beautiful Japanese garden. It was a great day and I would recommend Yasu

It was a GREAT TOUR with Noripy! With a family of many different ages and walking levels this was fantastic. We were picked up from our cruise in Yokohama and dropped off at Haneda airport. We had about 10 hours before our flight and it went flawlessly.

Noripy was excellent! She guided us through several parts of the city: Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower, Sangedatsumon, Zojo-ji, Meiji Jingu, and Golden Gai. A great way to see many Tokyo sites and get acquainted with the city on your first day!

Noripy gave a 5/5 tour! She provided useful instruction for public transport use, fascinating historical information, spiritual customs and current cultural practices- All with an infectious smile and never ending positive energy. Noripy’s tour allowed us to made the most of the rest of our time in Tokyo. I feel like we did 5 days of sightseeing in 6 hrs! But Noripy made sure to always check if we wanted a break. Our tour was customized for my 2 teenage kids and I, and if we saw or thought of something along the way that interested us, Noripy accommodated! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo. And you will be extra lucky to get Noripy for your guide!

What an amazing day! The weather was gracious with us as we took the ropeway from Gora and stopped at the fuming Owakudani valley where we got to admire Mount Fuji before the clouds came in. We then continued to Lake Ashi where we had lunch and then took the impressive pirate ship for a short cruise on the lake (first class recommended) – beautiful views. The local bus took us from the shore back to Gora where we changed to a shuttle for the Pola museum. Gorgeous location, interesting architecture, very impressive collection and a lovely nature path outside of the museum.

Our guide Hosoda Ikuyo got in touch with us well beforehand to agree the plan for the day. She spoke English very well and was easy to communicate with. On the day she was perfectly prepared for all eventualities, she took our kids and their interests nicely into consideration and ensured the day with all the transfers went super smoothly and on schedule. She was very knowledgeable about the region and the attractions but also shared about Japan as a whole. We can recommend Hosoda san and this tour without reservations.

Our guide Chiyuki was the best part of the trip. Super earnest, so generous with her knowledge of the history and culture. The tour had a lot to cover, from the sake making area to the Kobe Herb Garden Ropeway on the opposite side of the city, all in one afternoon. Miles to cover but never once did we feel rushed. We had lovely conversations along the way and tons of pictures to take home. Last but not least, when we requested for her recommendations of Kobe beef places, she pointed us to a top notch Kobe Beef Teppanyaki option – while prudently ensuring it was a value for money experience. You are the best Chiyuki – grateful for your hospitality and gracious hosting.

After getting off to a rocky start our guide was wonderful! She took us to the Herb Gardens
which was fabulous and the for a Kibe beef lunch, then toured Chinatown and did some
