They arranged a children's menu, which was well received. After lunch, I guided the group through Yasaka Shrine and the Gion area. When I talked about the differences between Buddhism and Shinto and how they have coexisted, the guests listened with great interest.

    Title: What Is a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Yanaka, and Tsukiji The guest was a visitor from North America on their first trip to Japan. They arrived at Haneda Airport the previous evening and took a taxi to the hotel. Now traveling solo, the guest has been enjoying overseas trips on their own. This visit to Japan spanned 18 days. The main highlights were the Nakasendo route ("I'm looking forward to Japan's autumn foliage") and a visit to the Seto Inland Sea and Naoshima ("I'm a fan of Tadao Ando"). They also planned to visit Kyoto and Nara. In addition, they were looking forward to meeting family who lives in Tokyo. Enjoying fitness training as a hobby, the guest walked at a brisk pace. It was a tour in light rain. First, we headed to Asakusa. As always, it was very crowded. We started from the front of Kaminarimon Gate. I explained "Senso-ji Temple and the history from Edo to Tokyo," "what the five-story pagoda is for," "what Buddhism is," and "the difference between Buddhism and Shinto." We took commemorative photos at Kaminarimon, in front of the five-story pagoda, and at various other spots. We took a leisurely stroll through the Nakamise shopping street. The guest asked questions such as "What are the major religions in Japan?", "How many Buddhists are there in Japan?", and "Besides Buddhism, what other religions do people believe in?" They also mentioned, "My family visits temples when they return to Asia." Next, we went to Rikugien Garden. The guest said, "I love Japanese gardens" and "I've been to the Japanese garden in North America many times." They said, "The pine trees are especially wonderful" and "The surrounding area feels like a quiet residential neighborhood, which is calming." We then moved to the Yanaka-Nezu-Sendagi area. The guest had requested, "I'd like to see the old streets of Tokyo." We strolled slowly along the streets, and they purchased a stuffed cat toy, saying, "I love these kinds of streetscapes." We also took a leisurely walk through Yanaka Cemetery. We moved on to Nezu Shrine. Despite the rain, there were many families in the precincts visiting for the Shichi-Go-San ceremony. With permission, we took photos. I explained "about Shinto," "about torii gates," and "about the history of Edo and Tokyo," and while passing through the torii gates, I also explained "about Inari shrines." The guest asked questions such as "What kind of religion is Shinto?" and "Why did Shinto arise?" We moved to Ueno and took a leisurely stroll through the park. The guest said, "Tomorrow I plan to take my time exploring the Tokyo National Museum." After this, we went to the Ameyoko shopping street, following the guest's original wish to "see a Japanese market." There were many foreign tourists and it was extremely crowded. The guest said, "You can buy anything here." They also asked, "What kind of place is an izakaya?" We then moved on to Tsukiji and toured the Tsukiji Market. The guest said, "This is fascinating. I'll come back again. I really want to buy a kitchen knife to take home." The guest also made comments and asked questions such as: "The city is so clean and there's no litter on the streets," "I don't see any homeless people," "Aren't there pickpockets on the trains?", "Is it safe to walk around at night?", and "Why aren't there trash cans on the streets?" We saw the guest off at Tochomae Station and parted ways.

    In the past, I was stationed in Canada, the United States, and Mexico as an expatriate of a Japanese bank for over 11 years.
    Since I have been mainly involved in the financing business in the United States for a long time, I think I am able to provide interpretation and translation services related to business and finance.
    I am a certified CPA in the United States.
    In addition, for three years from April 2016, I will be engaged in Japanese-English translation work (part-time), and I can also handle translation work.
    Although I don’t have a qualification in Spanish, but I think I can handle day to day conversation in Spanish without any problems.
    My hobby is trekking and from time to time, take a walk around mountains near Tokyo like Mt. Takao, Tanzawa, etc. I think it is possible to provide tourist information here as well.
    Since April 2015, I have been working as a Tokyo Metropolitan Tourism Volunteer and Tokyo Metropolitan Disaster Prevention Volunteer.
    One more, I have a separate house near Asuka Village, Nara prefecture, and I stay there for a total of about 30 days every year and have been enjoying sightseeing personally in the vicinity. Therefore, I think in the Kansai region, especially in Nara, Asuka, Yoshino, Koyasan, Kumano Kodo, etc., where I think I will be able to tour guide with confidence.

    What Is a Private Kyoto Tour Like at Higashi Honganji and Nishiki Market? A Licensed Guide's Report When I gave the group an overview of Japanese religions at Higashi Honganji, they mentioned that their own region also has an Indigenous religion, noting that the Vikings once worshipped rocks, and they seemed intrigued to find common ground with Japan. At Nishiki Market, they tried a sample of a honey drink at a beekeeping shop, enjoyed it, and purchased ginger-infused honey as a souvenir. The group joined this tour with little prior knowledge of Japanese culture and no particular places in mind, but afterward they sent a message through a messaging app saying, "Thank you so much for a great and enlightening tour yesterday!"

    What Is a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kiyomizu-dera, Fushimi Inari, and Kitano Tenmangu The guests were a group visiting from Europe and North America. Although there were many people due to organized groups and school excursions, spots such as the bell-ringing inside the hall at Kiyomizu-dera and the "Omokaru-ishi" stone at Fushimi Inari Taisha were not crowded, so the guests could take part right away. The guests had also wanted to see a bamboo grove, so I guided them to the "Bamboo Grove Path" at Fushimi Inari, and they were delighted. The plan was to finish at Nijo Castle, but the "Tenjin-ichi" market happened to be held at Kitano Tenmangu, and since everyone wanted to go there, we changed the plan, headed there instead, and parted ways at that spot.

A Licensed Guide's Report The weather was slightly overcast and cool, as it came just after the first snowfall of the season in the fields and mountains of Hokkaido. One of the guests served as the tour leader. The guests had become acquainted with the others aboard a ship. A friendly rapport had already formed among the guests, and the conversation flowed easily. Some of the guests mentioned that they were still working. The guests appeared to enjoy the walking tour energetically. After lunch, some of the guests left the tour partway through, so I saw them off along the way.

    # What Is a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like on a Rainy Day? A Licensed Guide's Report The weather was cloudy with cold, light rain for nearly the entire day. I offered a folding umbrella, but the guest said they would need one for the following days as well and purchased a vinyl umbrella along the way. At Tsukiji, the guest showed great interest in the seafood and looked into buying dashi stock base. After visiting the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, the guest enjoyed a set of tempura rice bowl and soba at a soba restaurant, and the flavors were very well received. It was the first time I had seen a guest drink the soba broth to the very last drop. In Asakusa, the guest purchased a yukata and souvenirs for friends. In the latter half, perhaps due to some tiredness, the guest spoke less. On the Yamanote Line in Shibuya, the guest was surprised by how crowded it was. I saw them off at their accommodation, and the tour ended. No tip.

    What's a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji, Asakusa, Akihabara, Shibuya, and Ginza The guests were a cheerful group from Oceania who had arrived in Japan the day before. At Tsukiji, they looked at a variety of ingredients and, taking a liking to sugar-coated black beans, purchased some. In Asakusa, they drew omikuji fortunes, performed a purification ritual, and offered prayers. We had planned to visit Tokyo Skytree if the weather was good, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, so we headed straight to Akihabara. Since they wished to visit a maid cafe, we went to a maid cafe where they took photos with the staff and enjoyed themselves. They also wanted to experience the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, so we went to Shibuya, and afterward to Ginza, where we looked out over Ginza Street from the rooftop balcony of Ginza Six before heading to the Hotel. It was raining a little, but the guests said they were fine and walked along. On the Yurikamome line on the way back, they sat in the very front seats. The weather was not good, but the guests were cheerful, and I believe they had an enjoyable time.

    Title: What Can You See on a 6-Hour Private Tokyo Tour of Gardens and Museums? A Licensed Guide's Report I received the guide request on the 21st, and since there was not much time before the tour day, I had not been able to fully understand the guest's interests in advance. On the morning of the tour, before departure, I consulted with the guest, and we set out with a tentative list of destinations — Rikugien Garden, the National Museum, the former Yasuda Garden, the Sword Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art — while agreeing to stay flexible depending on how much time each visit actually took. In the end, as shown in the tour route above, we skipped the Ryogoku area (the former Yasuda Garden and the Sword Museum) and visited Rikugien Garden, the National Museum, Kiyosumi Park, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. At every destination, the guest seemed satisfied, saying "wonderful." Initially, there was a request to visit several art museums and museums in addition to Japanese gardens, and I was somewhat worried about how it would turn out (my concern was that expectations might be too high within the basic 6-hour constraint, leaving some dissatisfaction), but in the end I believe the guest was very satisfied. Going up and down the stairs at the subway stations and elsewhere was no problem at all. (I heard that after this, a walk along the Kumano Kodo is being planned.)

Though I’m a novice as tour guide, l promise that I will make detailed and thorough preparations for guiding you and to make your trip smooth and enjoyable.     Title: What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, Shibuya, and Ginza The guest was visiting Japan for the first time from North America. Although they had traveled all over the world, they had never been to Japan before, and having heard positive impressions from someone who had visited Japan earlier, they decided to make this trip. The guest arrived in Tokyo around 4:30 in the early morning on the day of the tour and joined this tour shortly after. The following day they planned to visit Kyoto, and the day after that to board a cruise from the pier in Yokohama, setting off on a journey of about nine days around various parts of Japan. This private one-day tour was arranged through [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/), one of Japan's largest networks of government-licensed, English-speaking private tour guides serving all 47 prefectures. At Meiji Shrine, the guest did not offer prayers for personal reasons, but after I explained the customs, they watched me offer prayers. Since the guest had imagined Meiji Shrine to be the Imperial Palace, I explained the difference repeatedly. The chrysanthemum exhibition was just beginning, and the guest viewed it with great interest. In Shibuya, I introduced various restaurants, and in the end the guest enjoyed cream-sauce pasta, a salad, and a cake for dessert at a casual restaurant, deciding to enjoy Japanese food later on the cruise ship. Next, in Ginza, at the guest's request, we visited MIKIMOTO and a shop where one could see kintsugi works. We had planned to head to the Imperial Palace afterward, but the guest became very sleepy and wished to return to the hotel, so we parted a little early. I saw them back to their hotel and said goodbye.

    What Is a Private Onomichi Boat and Sightseeing Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were a group visiting from North America who had initially hoped for a Spanish-language tour. However, when I explained beforehand that this tour would be conducted in English, they understood. It was a wonderfully clear autumn day, and the view from the observation deck was superb, which delighted them. Since the group wanted to do an activity that everyone could enjoy, we decided on the spot to experience an adventure cruise on a RIB boat. It was a 30-minute round trip, going from the Onomichi Channel to near Itsukushima Shrine on Iwashijima Island, and the group even experienced some thrilling turns, leaving everyone very satisfied.

Strolling through town is a lot of fun, as many of the renovated shops and restaurants each has its own character and design!
    The breath-taking view from Mt. Takami, is a picture-perfect scene, encompassing the many islands surrounded by the tranquility of the Seto Inland Sea. The highest mountain in Mukaishima surely is a must-see spot! Many attractive outdoor activities await, including cycling along the Shimanami Kaido, sea kayaking, or stand-up paddle boarding. For a more relaxing experience, Zen meditation is offered at the temples in Onomichi-city.
