What Is a Private Cultural Day Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kiyosumi Garden, Fukagawa, and Asakusa The weather was a concern, but since the rain was light, the group visited Kiyosumi Garden as one of the guests had wished. The autumn leaves had not yet turned, but the guests enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the pond, various rocks, and pine trees, and took many photographs. Afterward, we went to Fukagawa Fudodo Temple and took part in a goma fire ritual. We then visited Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine, where the guests offered prayers and took photos, before heading to Asakusa. After visiting Sensoji Temple and Nakamise shopping street, we enjoyed conveyor-belt sushi at a kaiten-zushi restaurant, which the guests were very pleased with. The original plan had been to visit Tokyo Skytree and then part ways, but because of the poor weather, we instead watched a geisha ozashiki-asobi event held at the Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center before returning to the Hotel. The weather was not ideal, but I felt it was a good day, as the guests were able to experience many aspects of Japanese culture.

Title: What's a Full-Day Private Walking Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Sumida Park, and Nihonbashi The guests were first-time visitors to Japan from North America. They had planned a trip through Asia around the occasion of attending a friend's wedding, spending their first few days in Tokyo to recover from jet lag before continuing on to further destinations. Along Nakamise Street in Asakusa, they bought a lucky cat souvenir, ate mitarashi dango, and tried matcha with Japanese sweets, enjoying themselves greatly. They actively photographed anything they found interesting. Near Sumida Park, they were surprised to see local residents using "mamachari" (bicycles designed for carrying children on the front and back) and eagerly took photos. They also came across a number of children dressed for Shichi-Go-San shrine visits and photographed them, saying, "How adorable, just like little dolls." Near Tokyo Station, they encountered newlyweds having commemorative photos taken and photographed these scenes as well. Even though they skipped lunch, they wanted to see various things that felt "uniquely Japanese," so I introduced them to the food hall at a department store in Nihonbashi, which they were very pleased with. Regarding the itinerary, there had been no particular exchange beforehand, so I proposed the places to visit on the morning of the tour. The weather was excellent and the guests had no difficulty walking, so I believe we were able to cover everything efficiently. Since they were scheduled to join a 6-hour vehicle-based Tokyo tour the next day, I wrote down the places we had visited today on a sheet of paper and gave it to them, so that there would be no overlap in the destinations for the following day's tour.

Title: What Is a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama Monkey Park, and Kiyomizu-dera The guests came from North America. At 8:44 on the day of the tour, an email arrived asking to change the meeting time to 10:00, so I contacted the driver right away and we started 30 minutes earlier than originally planned. Since the choice of destinations had been left up to me, I had sent a tentative itinerary, but the guests expressed a wish to visit the Monkey Park, so I adjusted the itinerary accordingly. It still felt a bit early for the autumn foliage, but as it was the final day of a long weekend, everywhere was very crowded. Finally I guided them to Kiyomizu-dera, and since we had run about 40 minutes over time, I took them to the admission ticket counter and we parted ways there. It was a wonderful clear autumn day throughout, and the guests enjoyed the Kyoto tour. They did not shop much, but they purchased warabi mochi at Kinkaku-ji and furikake at a shop on Sannenzaka.

I’m Ryoichi Kazuma and my nickname is “Kazz”. I live in Kyotanabe city next to Kyoto city. I want guests to enjoy Kyoto by seeing and experiencing not only from outside but also from inside. I offer various information from daily matters to traditional cultures. Most destinations in Kyoto are located on the eastern side or the western side. As I want to guide guests to as many destinations as possible, I make an efficient itinerary and recommend a taxi use to save time. Additionally, I take pictures at various spots and finally share the link to my storage. By doing so, guests can download their favorite pictures from my storage. Please enjoy Kyoto night and day!

What Is a Private Kumano Kodo and Kyoto Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report Today I guided the guests from Oceania. They mentioned that they were enjoying overseas travel and had been trekking the Kumano Kodo and enjoying the hot springs in Katsuura. They were both very energetic, and walking was not a problem at all. They were also very interested in Japanese history. One of the guests said that they had listened to Japanese anime since childhood, and we sang anime songs together, with me singing in one language and the guest singing in another. They also knew a little Japanese and asked me many questions. It was a public holiday, so there were a lot of people, but I managed to cover the points I wanted to show them. As they were a little tired from the long journey, they strolled around Kuromon before deciding to head back to the Hotel early, so I explained the subway route to Umeda and we said goodbye.

Title: What Is a Private Full-Day Car Tour in Japan Like? A Licensed Guide's Report This tour kept the coordinator concerned right up until the end. I could not reach the taxi driver of the chartered vehicle until the day itself (just five minutes before the meeting time), so I was quite worried about how things would turn out, but in the end everything went smoothly and I was able to guide without any trouble. With the guests' travel agency in Asia, another agent in Asia, a Japan-based vehicle arrangement agency (foreign-run), and a foreign driver all involved, and messages going back and forth in a messaging app group that I had been added to only the day before the tour, there was a moment when I feared how it might all unfold. It seems that, based on an initial email from [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) regarding the guests arranging a rental car themselves, the agent in Asia understood that "the guide had withdrawn from this booking." The tour itself went without any problems at all, and I spent an enjoyable full day with the guests. The driver on the day also handled everything very well, though I suspect the vehicle may not have been a properly licensed taxi. On the day I deliberately chose not to confirm this. Perhaps that was part of the reason I could not reach the driver until the last minute, though this is only my own speculation. I did of course ask the agent in Asia whether the arranged vehicle and driver held a proper operating license in Japan, and the answer was yes. Had I pressed the matter, there might have been issues, but I prioritized carrying out the tour for the guests above all, and I feel it was good that we were able to complete it safely. I am sorry to have caused the [Japan Guide Agency](https://www.j-g-a.org/) coordinator so much concern. Thank you very much for your support.

I hope this message finds you well and full of excitement for your upcoming journey to Hiroshima! My name is Kay, and I am thrilled to be your designated tour guide for this adventure.
As a guide deeply passionate about the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of this area, I am eager to share these experiences with you. Whether this is your first-time visiting Hiroshima or you’re returning to explore it more deeply, my goal is to provide you with an enriching and memorable experience.

Please consider me your local resource – not just for the tour itself, but for any questions or concerns you may have during your stay. From dining recommendations to advice on local etiquette, I am more than happy to assist in making your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Before we begin our tour, feel free to share with me any specific interests or special requests you might have. Whether it’s a particular site you’re eager to visit, a type of cuisine you’re curious to try, or even a story you’ve heard about this place that you’d like to explore further, your input will help me craft an experience that is uniquely suited to you. Thank you for choosing to explore Hiroshima with me. I look forward to meeting you in person and sharing in the discovery of all that this incredible place has to offer.

Title: What Can You See on a Private Kyoto Tour in 4–6 Hours? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America. Since it was a 4-hour tour, we had exchanged messages beforehand through a messaging app, and I had suggested that they choose either eastern Kyoto, including Fushimi Inari Taisha, or the western area, including Arashiyama. As there was no reply in advance, they decided on the day of the tour which area to visit. When the sightseeing at Tofukuji was finished, I asked whether they would like to extend the tour, and they requested to also visit the Higashiyama district, Gion, and Nishiki Market, so we extended the tour by 2 hours. On this day, not only Kiyomizu-dera but also, unusually, Hokanji was open for sightseeing, which delighted them. At the time of the Kiyomizu-dera visit, they seemed a little tired, so we used a taxi from Kiyomizu-dera to Gion and Nishiki Market. When we arrived at Nishiki Market, I explained how to return to the hotel, and we parted ways. In fact, in the morning one of the guests could not find their JR Pass and was very worried, and phoned the hotel in case it might be there, asking me to have the room cleaning declined. After the tour ended, once back at the hotel, they let me know that "it was found in a shirt pocket." I was glad that the guests were satisfied with the tour and that the JR Pass was found.

I am an experienced guide, who live in Osaka. I have been a Government-Licensed Guide in English since 2018. I have already guided a lot of tourists overseas in Kansai Area, that is, in the vicinity of my prefecture, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, and Himeji. I am especially good at guiding in Kansai Area with sufficient knowledge of history, culture and transportation. I have guided people ranging from a small group of one or two to a group of 20-50 people in a big bus, that is, a coach. I like delicious food, because Osaka is a city of Kuidaorre, which means that people in Osaka love to eat and never spend too much money on food. Therefore, as an Osakan, I will do my best to explore restaurants which serve most delicious foods in wherever I take to my guests.

What Is a First-Day Private Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Tsukiji, and Ginza The guests were visitors from Europe. They seemed to fully enjoy their first day in Japan, drawing omikuji fortunes at Sensoji Temple, savoring sushi at Tsukiji, and buying Japanese sweets at a confectionery shop in Ginza. During the itinerary, there was a request to visit a river, so at the end of the Asakusa sightseeing we went to the Sumida River, where I talked about houseboats and fireworks. Recently, travel to Japan has become very popular in Europe, and it seems that everyone who travels visits Japan. While it is possible to enjoy Japanese food in their home region as well, the guests said that the sushi they had at Tsukiji was exceptionally delicious.

Title: What Is a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guest was a visitor from North America who was visiting Japan for the first time. After sightseeing in Tokyo, the guest planned to travel to Matsumoto, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima. At Meiji Shrine, the guest seemed deeply impressed by the quiet and solemn atmosphere, which was very different from the bustle of Shibuya. At the Imperial Palace, the guest listened with great interest to historical explanations about the role of the Emperor, the Meiji Restoration, and the Edo Shogunate. At Senso-ji Temple, the guest was very interested in the explanation about the differences between shrines and temples. At Hama-rikyu Gardens, the guest enjoyed the beautiful garden and a set of tea and sweets at the teahouse on the central island. Since I accommodated the guest's requests, I believe the guest was satisfied.

I am Seizo Kamiuto, National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter (English). I was born in Kagoshima City in Kyushu (Southern part of Japan) and grew up there until the graduation from a high school. I came to Tokyo to enter a University in Tokyo and since then, I have lived in Tokyo for more than 40 years and therefore I know Tokyo and its suburbs and Kagoshima City very well. After retiring from an IT company, I have been working as a Guide Interpreter of English since March 2018. I have guided many overseas guests to the popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo, Kamakura, Mt. Fuji area (Kawaguchiko Lake etc.), Hakone, Nikko, Yokohama, Kawagoe and Kagoshima and so on. I have received good reviews from many guests. I can explain the history and the culture of Japan in detail. I look forward to an opportunity to guide you in Japan. Thank you. Seizo Kamiuto

Title: What Is a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Nijo Castle and Arashiyama Under clear skies today, the tour was carried out with the guests fully satisfied. Today's tour was originally planned using public transportation, but when we transferred from a city bus to the subway from the Hotel to reach the first destination, Nijo Castle, I was surprised at how much time it took, so from that point on we switched to traveling by taxi. Thanks to this, the tour proceeded efficiently, and we were even able to stop by Okochi Sanso Villa, which had not been part of the original plan. When we parted ways, the guests thanked me, saying they were grateful to have been able to visit so many spots.

What Is a Private Kanazawa Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors traveling in Japan. To keep things comfortable, we used buses as much as possible and took the tour at a relaxed pace. The weather was fine, and I believe the guests were very satisfied with the beautiful gardens and Kanazawa Castle Park. At Omicho Market, since standing while eating seemed difficult, I introduced the atmosphere of the market and then secured seats at a relatively uncrowded seafood restaurant, guided the guests to their seats, and completed the tour. They kindly invited me to join them for lunch, but as it was not possible to secure enough seats, I politely declined.
