Title: What Is a 4-Hour Private Tour of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were a group visiting from Oceania. [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guide led a private 4-hour tour focused on the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park for the group. On the tour date, the weather was clear, and the itinerary covered the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and a memorial hall for the victims. Until the day of the tour, there was no information about the group's arrival time at Hiroshima Station, which was a little worrying, but before their departure the guests sent a photo of their tickets, which allowed me to prepare calmly. Since it was a 4-hour tour, I suggested that, in order to gain a deeper understanding of Hiroshima, it would be best to focus only on the Peace Memorial Park, as Hiroshima Castle and Shukkeien Garden have qualities similar to other sightseeing spots, and the guests kindly agreed.

Originally, I’m a cycling guide doing cycling tours all over Japan.
But, already done Hiroshima & Miyajima tour more than 400 times.
I traveled many countries in my younger days. I traveled Europe, US, China, India, US, Mexico, Peru Australia, NZ, and so on.
I decided to use this experience to become a guide.
I’m afraid but no tipping required, because cycling guides are not allowed to have tipping in my association. And you do not need to pay for my lunch, because my lunch is prepared by our group.
Please do not hesitate to ask me anything, I’ll change the plan according to your requests.
Thank you for your understanding and please stay connected.

What Is a Private Day Trip to Hiroshima Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on the Peace Park and Shukkeien Garden The guests were visitors from Asia. Some of the guests had been living in Tokyo since June of the previous year, and the group came to Hiroshima on a day trip. At the Peace Memorial Park, I introduced a tree that had been sent from Asia. I had also wanted to show them the statue and the memorial monument nearby, but given the route and time constraints, I was unable to include them in the tour. We took a break at a rest house along the way, and after the Peace Memorial Park, we also extended our visit to Shukkeien Garden. At one point I spoke about a different region than where they were from, which caused some confusion in our conversation. The tour ended near Shukkeien Garden, and the guests returned to Hiroshima Station by taxi.

Hi. I’m Michi. I’m a national licensed tour guide in English.
I want to introduce many faces and charms of Japan and make your stay in Japan more fascinating and satisfying.

I was born and raised in Hiroshima. My first tour in English was as a volunteer guide for the visitors to my school when I was a junior high school student. It gave me a great opportunity to study about the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
I spent my life in Hiroshima except for 6 years; 1 year in the UK as a student and 5 years working in Singapore and Malaysia. During this period I enjoyed meeting and talking with people from different cultural backgrounds.
These experiences encouraged me to be a licensed tour guide.

In Hiroshima, there are two famous World Heritage Sites, the Atomic Bomb Dome in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial & Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima.
I have experienced many tours of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum & Park since I was a junior high school student. I would like to introduce you to the a-bomb legacies that are still existing in the city and the stories under the mushroom cloud.
I also would like to share time with you on a historic island, Miyajima. There is one of the most famous Shinto shrines, the Itsukushima Shrine. We can share an enjoyable time by exploring a sacred atmosphere, tradition, nature, food, etc.

I am also an official ‘A-bomb legacy successor’ designated by the City of Hiroshima. An A-bomb Legacy Successor is a memory keeper of the A-bomb survivors. To ensure that the A-bomb survivors’ experiences and desires for peace are faithfully inherited and shared with as many people as possible, the City has started a three-year training program for official ‘A-bomb Legacy Successors. ‘

Let me support your stay in Japan and I look forward to showing you the best of Japan!
    Hope to see you soon!

What Is a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visiting from Asia, and this was the first visit to Japan for part of the group, while another had lived in Japan for a total of about ten years. Part of the group had especially been looking forward to this tour. Each of the three places I took them to had its own distinct appeal, and I believe they thoroughly enjoyed the day, including lunch. In particular, at Sanjusangen-do, this day happened to coincide with the annual grand archery event held once a year. Although it was quite crowded and they could not actually watch the competition, they seemed to enjoy the unique atmosphere it created.

What Is a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America who live near mountains on the outskirts of their home area, and they were shocked by the wildfires in their region. Since we also used a taxi at one point, we were able to complete the itinerary as planned without any stress. One of the guests seemed interested in omamori charms and took time selecting them wherever we went, perhaps enjoying them as accessories. I had hoped to have the guests try street food at Nishiki Market, but the comment was that it was expensive, so they were quite cost-conscious. We had a meal at a nearby ramen shop instead. It was delicious, and the comment was that it cost about a quarter of the price back home. The guests got along wonderfully, and I found it truly enviable.

Title: What Is a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kinkaku-ji and Nijo Castle The guests were a group visiting from Oceania. The meeting time was 10:30, but the guests let me know they would be late, and we were able to meet around 13:40. Even after gathering, some of the guests went to buy coffee and some went to the restroom, so we were actually able to depart around 10:50. At Kinkaku-ji, when I explained that the bird on top of the golden pavilion is a phoenix, it was striking how everyone said in unison that they had thought it was a chicken. They sampled peanuts at Mamemasa and purchased several bags. One of the guests walked slowly and seemed to find climbing and descending stairs difficult. After walking around Nijo Castle, this person withdrew from the tour. By the time we arrived at the Kyoto Imperial Palace, we were significantly behind schedule, so I kept the explanation of the Kyoto Imperial Palace brief. We caught two taxis in front of the Inui Gate of Kyoto Gyoen and parted ways there.

They had chosen Japan as their first overseas destination after the pandemic and were touring Tokyo, Hakuba, and Kyoto. Originally the tour was scheduled to start at 9:00 and include a visit to Fushimi Inari Taisha, but the guests requested a shorter itinerary as they were tired. The guests very much enjoyed the atmosphere around Tatsumi Bridge in the Gion area. Because one of the guests was studying dance at university, the group was very interested in maiko and geiko. At Nishiki Market, the guests enjoyed shopping at Aritsugu, and we shared a wagyu beef lunch together to bring the tour to a close.

Hello, my name is Mizuho Yoshikawa. Please call me Mizu and my name means rice and water in Japanese.
I’ve been a tour guide more than 200 times since the spring of 2023 in Kobe, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Wakayama and Kochi. My tour is always original and new, depending on the guest’s preferences, encounters, seasons and weather.
In Kyoto, one of my tours is to climb Mt. Kurama. It is about 1 hour from the city of Kyoto by train, it is a very quiet and beautiful mountain.
In Osaka, which is called the kitchen of Japan, I am also in charge of food tour.
In Nara, in addition to the Great Budda Hall, I guide guests to the temple with a really great view and Japanese wine, sake tasting.
Every city has a unique charming point.
The motto of my guiding is ” Ichigo Ichie” Once in a lifetime or seize the day. I learn this concept that the moment will never be the same again through tea ceremonies.
I like a tea ceremony that is part of the traditional Japanese culture and embodies the spirit of “omotenashi” or hospitality. Through the tea ceremony, we can feel the spirit of “omotenashi” that has been passed down to us from ancient times.
And I like to travel abroad and domestically, and I have been to 13 overseas countries and most of the prefectures in Japan. Traveling always gives me a new perspective, which is exciting and thrilling. Nowadays, we can learn a lot from the Internet, but traveling teaches us that it is important to have direct experience. When I travel, I feel that my five senses are infinitely expanded, and through my tour, I help all guests to have the same feeling in Japan.
I was born and raised in Kanagawa Prefecture, which is next to Tokyo Prefecture in eastern Japan. When I was little, I could see Mount Fuji from my backyard. There was also a rice field nearby, and I grew up listening to the croaking of frogs. Listening to the frogs and seeing the mountains made me feel very calm.
I moved to the city of Kobe, one of the Kansai areas in western Japan, which includes Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and so on. I’m not from the Kansai area of western Japan, but I think that makes me sensitive to the differences between that area and the Kanto area, Tokyo, where I grew up.
Speaking of Kobe, you might be thinking of Kobe beef. Of course you do. There are also other sake breweries in Nada in Kobe. You can also go from Kobe city to Himeji Castle, also known as the White Egret Castle, which was the first in Japan to be listed as a World Heritage Site in 1993.
Let’s meet and enjoy Japan together!

After staying in Tokyo for three days, they planned to go skiing in Niseko, Hokkaido. We started at Toyosu Market. We then took the Yurikamome line to Tsukiji. After visiting Meiji Shrine, the guests wanted a light meal, and one of the guests searched online and chose The Little BAKERY Tokyo. I had known about this shop for some time because it can accommodate certain dietary needs, but this was my first time actually visiting. Although it is a little small, the interior is stylish and the food is delicious, and they flexibly accommodate requests regarding toppings, so I felt it would be a good option for small-group tours in the future. At Senso-ji, the guests wanted to have lunch at the food stalls within the temple grounds, so we ended the tour a little earlier than planned on the spot.

Hi. My name is Masafumi Miyazaki. Please call me “Sam”. I am a government-licensed guide.
I was born in Tokyo and was raised in the suburbs of Tokyo called Tama area. When I was in university, I majored in western dramas, so I am good at playing like an actor.
I like reading, listening to the music, and walking. I belong to several walking clubs, and sometimes I guide the members around Tokyo.
One of my strengths as a guide is that I know well about kombu, Japanese kelps. In December every year, I work at a traditional kombu shop in Tsukiji Fish Market. At that shop, I learned a lot of things related to kombu or other ingredients for washoku. I can explain the different characteristics of them to you.
Also, I am familiar with Japanese flowers and plants. If you stroll around a Japanese garden with me, I am sure you will be able to enjoy beautiful flowers and unique plants in every season.
I look forward to meeting you. Thank you.

A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visiting Japan for the first time and planned to stay for a while, so on this day they wished to learn how to use public transportation and to gain an understanding of Japanese culture, history, and customs, while also visiting the main sightseeing spots. Regarding the Imperial Palace, the guests wanted to visit the East Gardens on another day, so they asked me to show them the entrances to both the Outer Garden and the East Gardens, which I did. For lunch, the guests very much wanted to try ramen, so I took them to a ramen restaurant in Asakusa, and they were very pleased. The weather was fine as well, and I believe the guests were satisfied with the tour.

Hi, I am Nobu, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter (English).
I have been an English guide in Tokyo area since January 2017.
Tokyo is a wonderful city, and you may enjoy this city by yourselves.
Even so, I recommend you go around with a guide, especially if it is your first time visit to Tokyo.
A good guide will help you to understand about Tokyo and Japan as well as how to use convenient but complicated public transportations more effectively.
I am glad if I can help you to make your tour more enjoyable.
I am looking forward to meeting you in Tokyo soon!

What's a Private Full-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji, Asakusa, and the Imperial Palace On this day, I guided the guests from North America on a sightseeing tour of Tokyo. The weather was fine, and at the Tsukiji Outer Market, where about 400 shops line the streets, they explored seafood, fruits, vegetables, and cooking utensils, and also enjoyed a tasting of sashimi. At Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, they enjoyed learning about the historical background and shopping along Nakamise Street. Around the Imperial Palace (Sakuradamon Gate and Nijubashi Bridge), they took in the vast scenery and the atmosphere surrounding Nijubashi Bridge. They were also very satisfied with the Japanese cuisine for lunch. In addition, we exchanged opinions about common Japanese customs and general knowledge, and I feel they had an enjoyable time. The guests showed great curiosity about various Japanese customs and history, actively asking many questions, which made it a very fulfilling tour.
