Title: What Is a Private Day Trip from Osaka to Koyasan Like in Winter? A Licensed Guide's Report I went to the Hotel a little early, hoping we might catch the 7:24 train from Namba, but the guests appeared just after 7:00, and since they then stopped at the convenience store next door to buy coffee and breakfast, we ended up taking the 8:00 limited express instead. However, the guests were interested in Japanese culture and religion and asked many questions on the train, so I was able to cover the most important points along the way. Today it was chilly even in Osaka, but when we arrived at Koyasan it was 1.6 degrees, and on the way back it was 3 degrees even though the sun was out. I was glad I had emailed in advance to advise them to dress warmly. It even snowed at one point, but it stopped while we were inside Kongobuji Temple and the restaurant. At Kongobuji there was also a calligraphy exhibition, which we enjoyed along with the fusuma paintings and the rock garden. We also got off at the Daimon Gate for an explanation, which shortened our time for strolling around Okunoin, but we walked until the pre-set time, since leaving around 14:00 meant we could return to Namba by 16:22. The guests were traveling around various parts of Japan, and they shared a wonderful, joyful energy with me.

Hi! I’m an official English guide in Wakayama prefecture. I’m also a national guide as well. I’d like to expand my guide area to help tourists.
The town of Osaka offers a different atmosphere than Tokyo. I like both exciting Osaka and nature-filled Wakayama Prefecture.
If you stay in Osaka for 3 days, you can go to Koyasan for one day, or even for a day trip, so I recommend sightseeing at Koyasan.
If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, the nature of Koyasan will relax you.
I will introduce you to the unique culture, history and must-see sights.

What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America, visiting Japan for the first time. After sightseeing in Tokyo, they planned to travel to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kanazawa, and other destinations. At Hie Shrine, they listened with great interest to the explanation about the differences between shrines and temples, and were fascinated by the approach lined with red torii gates. At Tokyo Tower, they appeared deeply impressed by the magnificent view of Tokyo. At Tsukiji, they enjoyed a sushi lunch. At Hamarikyu Gardens, they seemed moved by the beautiful cherry blossoms and the Japanese garden. At Odaiba, they showed interest in the Rainbow Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. Along the Meguro River, they appeared impressed by the cherry blossoms in full bloom. I responded to the guests' wishes throughout the day, so I believe they were satisfied.

Title: What's a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Shinjuku Gyoen, and the Imperial Palace The guests were visiting from Europe. It was their first time in Japan, and they requested Asakusa, Shinjuku Gyoen, and the Imperial Palace. One of the guests had watched a program about the shogun on television and expressed an interest in samurai and Japanese history. At Shinjuku Gyoen, they were amazed not only by the crowds but also by the overwhelming size of the garden and the beauty of the cherry blossoms. They remarked that Japanese gardens in Europe look like miniatures by comparison. They wanted to visit the Imperial Palace because they were curious to see where the Emperor lives. As soon as we arrived in Asakusa, we had lunch (ramen), and they were pleased at how inexpensive it was compared with prices back home. From Asakusa, I showed them the exit closest to their hotel near Shimbashi, and we said our goodbyes.

Title: What's a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, and Asakusa The guests were from North America and were planning to depart on a cruise two days later. Before their trip, they had prepared for their time in Japan. We started from their hotel in Yokohama and headed to Meiji Shrine, entering from the north approach. There I explained the differences between Buddhism and Shinto, the influence each has had on Japanese culture, and the different customs of worship, before proceeding to the main hall. We happened to see a traditional wedding ceremony taking place, and the guests seemed amazed by the classical costumes and old customs. At their sudden request, we then went to Takeshita Street, followed by the Shibuya crossing, which was crowded as it was the weekend. We had originally planned to visit the Imperial Palace and Nijubashi Bridge, but since the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, I took them to Chidorigafuchi instead, where they took many photos of the wonderful scenery. Finally, we headed to Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, but they were surprised by the huge crowds and left soon after. They did seem tired from the large crowds and from going up and down the subway stairs.

    Hello and welcome to Tokyo!

I have been working for business with American companies for many years. I have many experiences guiding customers from around the world in Japan and taking Japanese customers to the USA and Europe.

I now have a national license as a guiding interpreter, and I want to introduce the unique gigantic city of Tokyo and the traditional Japanese culture, which is not shown in the guidebooks, to people worldwide who are interested in it. In addition, I want to introduce various Japanese foods you can enjoy only in Japan.
Unique experiences such as the Sumo Training Viewing and Tea Ceremony are optionally available.
Depending on your preference and itinerary, I can guide you in Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone so that you can enjoy your time in Japan.

What's a Private Cherry Blossom Walking Tour in Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America. Since walking slowly was manageable, we joined the special springtime opening of the Inui Gate passage at the Imperial Palace, which had begun the previous day. From there we strolled leisurely through Kitanomaru Park and Chidorigafuchi, taking breaks along the way. We fully enjoyed the cherry blossoms, which were in full bloom. As it was already the third day in Tokyo and Asakusa, Shibuya, and Meiji Shrine had already been visited, there was a wish to see off-the-beaten-path spots, so we next visited the grave of Tokugawa Yoshinobu at Yanaka Cemetery. After that, since walking had become tiring, we returned to the hotel by taxi. Tonight's accommodation was the hotel.

Can You Do a Private Day Trip to Osaka and Kyoto? A Licensed Guide's Report [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guided a private tour of Osaka and Kyoto for a guest visiting from North America. The guest planned to sightsee in Osaka and Kyoto during their free time before returning home. At Osaka Castle, the guest was impressed by the sheer scale of the fortress and its comprehensive defensive structure, including the outer moat, inner moat, turrets, main citadel, and secondary citadel. The cherry blossoms were beginning to bloom, and the guest was surprised to see the area overflowing with tourists and hanami visitors. In Umeda, the guest was amazed by the vastness of the Osaka cityscape as seen from the aerial observatory atop the Umeda Sky Building. The guest also admired how orderly and beautiful the urban development around Osaka Station was, with its modern buildings, commercial facilities, and parks. We continued to Dotonbori, where the tour concluded.

What Is a Private Osaka Day Tour Like During Cherry Blossom Season? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were a group visiting from the Middle East. Although the itinerary had been arranged in advance based on their wishes, it was the first weekend after the cherry blossoms opened, and delays due to crowding were expected, so before the tour started I changed Umeda Sky Building to Harukas 300, which is closer to the other destinations. I explained to the guests that although Harukas 300 is not on Viator's "what to expect" list, it surpasses Umeda Sky Building in height and is located in a historical area, and they readily agreed. It was a cold day, so traveling by car was a great help, but we had a late, unplanned lunch that put us behind schedule, so once we reached Dotonbori I released the car, guided them around Dotonbori, and then walked them to their hotel.

    Hi, I’m Sam.
I am happy to welcome you all to Japan.

Since I was a child, my parents welcomed many international students into our home and I had many opportunities to interact with them. My mother is a translator, and I have always seen her guiding foreigners around Japan, so it was natural for me to start doing the same.

I am good at guiding people to popular places such as Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Asakusa, as well as photogenic spots in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Since I was a child, I’ve watched anime like Pokémon and played Nintendo games, and I still buy around 100 manga comic books a month. I love shopping in Akihabara! I currently live in Urayasu City, Chiba, so close that I can see fireworks from Disneyland from my house every night.

Please feel free to ask me anything!

What Can You See on a Private Tokyo Day Tour of the Imperial Palace and Asakusa? A Licensed Guide's Report I first took the guests to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. The guests were very interested in history and culture, so while guiding them through the highlight spots of the Imperial Palace, I explained the history of the Tokugawa family and the Imperial family. The cherry blossoms happened to be almost in full bloom, and the guests were delighted and took many photos. After that, we moved to Asakusa by subway. I guided them around the classic spots of Asakusa. As we walked from Nakamise Street to Sensoji Temple, the guests appeared quite tired, so we took a café break at Kaminari Issa near Sensoji Temple. (They skipped lunch as they had little appetite due to jet lag.) After the break, I took them to Asakusa Shrine and explained the relationship between Buddhism and Shinto, which they listened to with great interest. Finally, we went to Sumida Park to view the cherry blossoms. Many Japanese families were having hanami parties, which the guests found unusual and enjoyed watching. Having arrived in Japan only the previous evening, the guests wished to return to their accommodation by taxi even though it was a little early, so I took them to the taxi stand at Tobu Asakusa Station, hailed a taxi for them there, and we parted ways.

What Is a Private Osaka Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from Asia, arranged through a travel agency. From the time the booking was confirmed until the day of the tour, I sent several emails but received no replies, and the guests were not on the hotel check-in list, so I was concerned; however, the guests appeared on time and I was relieved. The email address I had been given belonged to the travel agency, and the meeting-point hotel was not their actual accommodation. I heard they had a free day in Osaka the day before, and I felt sorry that the travel agency's service had not been more attentive. After the tour, the guests enjoyed Dotonbori and a teamLab botanical garden, and planned to fly home early the next morning from Kansai International Airport.
