A top day with a top guide
My wife & I spent a fabulous day with Yuji visiting Miyajima & Hiroshima.. From his greeting to us on our arrival at Hiroshima station to saying good-bye at the same location 8 hours later, he gave us wonderful perspectives of both locations as well as sharing his knowledge of the sights we saw.

Incredible Experience
We had an incredible experience visiting Hiroshima and Miyajima for the first time. Our tour guide, Yuji, made the experience one we will never forget. From start to finish the trip was thoroughly enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable explaining meaning, symbolism, answering questions and went above and beyond to give us the best experience. Yuji really tailored the tour to things we found interesting and made transport with trains and the ferry very easy to navigate- as we did a day trip from Osaka. My husband and I were very fortunate to have Yuji as our guide. Highly recommend this private tour if you are considering Hiroshima and Miyajima!

Our guide for Tokyo was Keiji Iwasaki and he was excellent, providing a tailored experience that was drafted prior to the day with a full itinerary
Mapped out that suited our needs and interests. He helped us in shopping what we wanted, providing expert shopping tips and advice. A highlight was the palace gardens and the theatre building and lunch was just exceptional.
Great service and would recommend him.

There is a lot of climbing stairs and walking, but it is totally worth it. Nara was very crowded,
but with Toshi guiding me, I could find my way very easily. The deer can be aggressive, but
really pretty amazing.

Auf unserem Trip durch Japan hatten wir für unseren Stopp in Osaka eine vierstündige Tour gebucht. Im Vorfeld konnten wir per Mail mit unserem Guide Yoshi Iwamoto einen groben Plan vereinbaren, was uns an diesem Tag erwarten würde. Yoshi war überpünktlich am vereinbarten Treffpunkt und wir konnten direkt mit unserer Tour starten. Wir hatten das große Glück, mit ihm vor den Touristenmassen am Shitennoji-Tempel zu sein und haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Auch die anderen Ziele waren wirklich sehr schön und wir hatten einen großartigen Tag zusammen. Vielen Dank Yoshi für die tolle Tour und Deine Freundlichkeit! Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland!

Incredible tour, one of the highlights of my trip!
Booking a private tour with Hideharu (Yoshi) Yoshino was easily one of the absolute highlights of my trip.

Yoshi-san customized the day perfectly to my interests, accommodating a last-minute hotel change and timing our morning perfectly so we could see the spectacular Gion Matsuri parade without the heavy crowds.

We explored Ginkaku-ji, Nanzen-ji, and the traditional streets of Gion at a wonderful, relaxed pace.

The tour was fascinating and packed with interesting details that allowed me to truly understand Kyoto’s rich history.

Highly recommended!

A Well-Organized and Informative Tour of Kanazawa
We, a family of 5, had a very enjoyable 6-hour private tour of Kanazawa with Hideharu Yoshino from Japan Guide Agency.
Communication before the tour was excellent and made it very easy to plan the day. Yoshi’s English was excellent, which made communication throughout the tour very smooth. He provided very clear and interesting explanations, giving us a better understanding of the history and culture of the places we visited.
During the tour we explored Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden, and the Geisha and Samurai districts.
It was a well-organized and informative tour. Highly recommended.

Our tea and culture day in Kanazawa with our guide Hideharu Yoshino was amazing! Yoshi is very fluent in English and a great companion to walk around with as he knows so much about the history and culture of Kanazawa and Japan. He also knew the best place to grab lunch and helped us pick what was good local fish, curry or tea to try. Plus he made sure we felt comfortable and never out of place wherever we went. I would recommend him for anyone who likes to know more about what they are seeing or what they can do in the area. Yoshi is great!

Koba was so nice to my family and I. He was patient and helped carry a large toy my daughter won. I wished we had another day. Having a guide saved us hours of navigating the subway and metro.

It was a GREAT TOUR with Noripy! With a family of many different ages and walking levels this was fantastic. We were picked up from our cruise in Yokohama and dropped off at Haneda airport. We had about 10 hours before our flight and it went flawlessly.

Noripy was excellent! She guided us through several parts of the city: Imperial Palace, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower, Sangedatsumon, Zojo-ji, Meiji Jingu, and Golden Gai. A great way to see many Tokyo sites and get acquainted with the city on your first day!

She provided useful instruction for public transport use, fascinating historical information, spiritual customs and current cultural practices- All with an infectious smile and never ending positive energy. Noripy’s tour allowed us to made the most of the rest of our time in Tokyo. I feel like we did 5 days of sightseeing in 6 hrs! But Noripy made sure to always check if we wanted a break. Our tour was customized for my 2 teenage kids and I, and if we saw or thought of something along the way that interested us, Noripy accommodated! Tokyo was our last stop for our trip. And what a fantastic end it was thanks for JGA and our guide, Ken! We did a 2-day tour of Tokyo with Ken. Even prior to our tours, Ken was on top of our communication and our needs. He went out of his way to book lunches for us based on what we liked. He was rightly concerned that our party was too large for some restaurants to be able to accommodate. He adjusted our pickup time when we informed him we would not be disembarking our cruise ship at the time we had previously stated. His knowledge of Tokyo and Japan history was incredible. We learned and saw so much during our two days with him. He was very thoughtful, kind and considerate and answered all of our questions including questions from my 8 year old twin boys. At the end of our three weeks, we had visited nine cities in two countries with private tours and transportation at most of those stops. Ken was by far the best we had! Thank you Ken for making our trip unforgettable!

Amazing time in Hakone

My family and I can not speak more highly of Ken. Prior to the trip, he was in contact with us finding out what we wanted to do in Hakone as well as any food allergies, which he sought out gluten free lunch options as my daughter has celiacs. He met us at the hotel and from the very beginning he was engaged. He made sure that we had the proper seats or positions for all the best views – and thankfully we were able to see Mt. Fuji. He even took care of arranging transportation from a park to the restaurant and then to the cable car. After the boat ride, he took us to a shopping area (very small) which was run by locals that my daughter was able to buy handcrafted gifts made from wood. We have already said that when we return back to Japan, we will definitely try to book him first for anything we do in the Tokyo or surrounding area. Please note that the trip to Hakone is long and that you are going for the scenery, which is spectacular. Our family is quite active, so we had no problem keeping us. However saying that, knowing Ken, if the family was not as active, he would definitely accommodate.

Super Sapporo in April with Tom.
Tom was kind enough to meet at our hotel to start the tour and then sat with us to make sure we saw the best of Sapporo that was available to us on the day. We even managed some Cherry Blossom which was an unexpected bonus.

Tom ensured we got to Sapporos highest view away from any crowds and navigated our route brilliantly. He left us at the Sapporo Brewery for us to drink and eat in our own time. We wish Tom sincere thanks for a great day in Sapporo.
