Hiro-san knows Hakone!
Our guide, Hiro-san, did a wonderful job introducing us to the area of Hakone – leading us on a great tour of several requested destinations. We were lucky to see Mt. Fuji at the top of the ropeway, had a fun ride on a pirate ship on Lake Ashi, enjoyed a fantastic lunch at a local restaurant, and picked up some great souvenirs at a puzzle-box store which have wowed our family and friends. One of the great things that Hiro did throughout the day was to educate and amuse us with numerous pictures, stories, and lessons from his backpack. It felt like Hiro-san was part of our family that day and we can’t imagine having tried to experience Hakone’s great sites without him.

Kamakura was amazing. Enjoyed visiting the beautiful gardens and shrines. Hiro was a great guide. Having him guide us made the day stress free and much more enjoyable. It was interesting learning about Japan and the culture. I would definitely recommend this tour and visiting Kamakura.

Awesome tour of Kyoto
Seeing the temples and shrines and other Kyoto’s surrounding areas were amazing to see and experience. Mizu was very kind and patient with my two daughters since they wanted stamps/seals of each shrine/temple that we visited in their books. Mizu even helped them to get stamps at each train station. She arranged our trip to be efficient and asked me prior to the trip which sites weee important for me to see and gave us her recommendations of what was feasible to see within the 6 he time frame. She was able to pick a nice restaurant to eat at for lunch. Overall I was very pleased with the private tour!

A Wonderful and Memorable Tour of Osaka with Mizu
We had a wonderful tour of Osaka with Mizu and can highly recommend her as a guide. From the very beginning, she was friendly, welcoming, and extremely well prepared. The entire tour was well organized, informative, and perfectly matched our expectations.

The sights and areas she selected gave us a great impression of Osaka and its unique character. We particularly appreciated the balance between famous attractions, local culture, history, and everyday life in the city. Mizu provided us with a lot of interesting background information and explained everything in a clear and engaging way. We learned much more about Osaka than we would have discovered on our own.

Her English was excellent, and communication was easy and natural throughout the entire tour. She was always happy to answer our questions and made sure that everyone in our group felt comfortable and included. We got along with her very well, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish.

Mizu was also very attentive to our interests and adjusted the tour whenever necessary. We never felt rushed, and there was always enough time to take photos, look around, and enjoy the different places. Her warm personality, local knowledge, and enthusiasm for Osaka made the experience particularly memorable.

Overall, the tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Osaka. We would gladly book another tour with Mizu and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and personable guide. Thank you, Mizu, for such a fantastic and memorable day in Osaka!

Our wonderful guide, Takako, took us on a tour of Tokyo. She helped us create a plan based on our interests and was flexible when we needed to change the itinerary a bit due to extreme heat. She was friendly, informative, and helpful. We enjoyed learning about Japanese culture and history from Takako, and we saw amazing temples and ate delicious sushi. I highly recommend this tour and Takako as a guide!

We had an amazing day with Takako. Takako got in contact prior to our tour to create the perfect itinerary. She collected us from our hotel and helped us get our travel cards and showed us how to use the public transport. Takako altered our tour and took us to Harajuku Takeshite street, which our teenagers really enjoyed. Takako was really informative and friendly and made the day really enjoyable. We would have no hesitation in booking her again. Takako showed us more in 6 hours than we would have seen in a week if left to our own devices. Thanks Takako and we will watch The Transporter!

Amazing guided experience
Harumi is an amazing guide. Knows everything about the sites she takes you to. She is excellent with kids and even brought them oregami and treats. The heat was a bit oppressive and we were so glad we paid for the driver with a large and clean air conditioned van. Harumi, the guide, was a true professional. She devised a very good itinerary and was also flexible when the kids were hungry, etc. Would highly recommend.

Incredible tour, one of the highlights of my trip!
Booking a private tour with Hideharu (Yoshi) Yoshino was easily one of the absolute highlights of my trip.

Yoshi-san customized the day perfectly to my interests, accommodating a last-minute hotel change and timing our morning perfectly so we could see the spectacular Gion Matsuri parade without the heavy crowds.

We explored Ginkaku-ji, Nanzen-ji, and the traditional streets of Gion at a wonderful, relaxed pace.

The tour was fascinating and packed with interesting details that allowed me to truly understand Kyoto’s rich history.

Highly recommended!

A Well-Organized and Informative Tour of Kanazawa
We, a family of 5, had a very enjoyable 6-hour private tour of Kanazawa with Hideharu Yoshino from Japan Guide Agency.
Communication before the tour was excellent and made it very easy to plan the day. Yoshi’s English was excellent, which made communication throughout the tour very smooth. He provided very clear and interesting explanations, giving us a better understanding of the history and culture of the places we visited.
During the tour we explored Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden, and the Geisha and Samurai districts.
It was a well-organized and informative tour. Highly recommended.

Our tea and culture day in Kanazawa with our guide Hideharu Yoshino was amazing! Yoshi is very fluent in English and a great companion to walk around with as he knows so much about the history and culture of Kanazawa and Japan. He also knew the best place to grab lunch and helped us pick what was good local fish, curry or tea to try. Plus he made sure we felt comfortable and never out of place wherever we went. Emotional and confronting
Moving experience with amazing guide Kyoko. Kyoko met us at the cruise terminal and took us to the Peace Museum, Dome, and Peace Park. We then went to Mijama Island and back to cruise port. We were a group of four senior citizens and Kyoko was so kind and caring and made sure we made it back to the port safely. Kyoko was very informative and taught us so much about Japan. We even had a picnic (Hamani) under the cherry blossom trees with Kyoko. We had a very memorable day in Hiroshima which has left lasting impressions on us.
We would highly recommend this tour and our amazing guide Kyoko.

A Great Day!
We had a great day with Sei, our guide. He was friendly, very knowledgable and organised.
He took us around Hiroshima Memorial Park and then to the museum where he had arranged for a private viewing of a short film about Hiroshima. Afterwards, we visited Miyajima Island. Again, Sei was very knowledgable. He had checked the tides to show the ‘floating’ Torri Gate.
We did a fair bit of travelling, bus, tram, train and Ferry, but the day went smoothly. We didn’t feel rushed. Everything flowed.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Sei and would definitely recommend it.

Terrific tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima
Sei was a terrific guide for our 8 hour tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He clearly enjoyed showing us around his hometown. He checked the tide tables to make sure that we were able to see the floating torii gate at Miyajima close to high tide (if you go at low tide, the torii gate will be completely on the same). He took us to a very small local restaurant. We sat a counter that had about 8 seats in the whole restaurant and watched the owner prepare our meal on the hot skillet in front of us. Loved the true local experience! He gave us a choice of restaurants for lunch. Had delicious Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki (highly recommend this dish!). The second part of our day was at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and surrounding sights. Sei was very good at explaining the background of these sights. Overall a full day. Would definitely recommend Sei for your tour guide!

We had an incredible time exploring Tokyo with our guide, May! He was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, making every stop interesting with fascinating stories and local insights. His enthusiasm for Tokyo was contagious, and he really helped us curate this tour to fit our interests and make it our own.

The tour was well organized and included a great mix of iconic sights and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. May also shared excellent recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and things to do after the tour, which made the rest of our stay even better. Our guide Chiyuki was the best part of the trip. Super earnest, so generous with her knowledge of the history and culture. The tour had a lot to cover, from the sake making area to the Kobe Herb Garden Ropeway on the opposite side of the city, all in one afternoon. Miles to cover but never once did we feel rushed. We had lovely conversations along the way and tons of pictures to take home. Last but not least, when we requested for her recommendations of Kobe beef places, she pointed us to a top notch Kobe Beef Teppanyaki option – while prudently ensuring it was a value for money experience. After getting off to a rocky start our guide was wonderful! She took us to the Herb Gardens
which was fabulous and the for a Kibe beef lunch, then toured Chinatown and did some
