Tour Itinerary in Detail

This private tour of Hokkaido began at 9:00, when the guide met the guests at Hotel lobby, and finished at 12:15. The day ran to 3 hours and 15 minutes from start to finish.

From there the group visited the morning market at 9:15, Take the bus to Goryokaku at 9:55 and Goryokaku Tower and the park. Stroll around the moat at 10:05.

What's a Private Day Tour of Hakodate Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests wanted to visit places not often frequented by tourists, so after a brief look at the morning market, I guided them to Fureai Ika Hiroba. The weather was fine with a cool breeze, and they enjoyed it.

Next, I guided them to Hakodate Meiji-kan, which recreates the streets of 1960s Hakodate.

At the observation deck of Goryokaku Tower, they took photos of Mount Hakodate and the sea fog drifting in from the coast. In the park, as shown in the photos, they had their pictures taken dressed in Shinsengumi costumes. I believe they were in great spirits. Since they liked walking, we walked together along half of the path that circles Goryokaku Park.

As there was time, we visited the Northern Pacific Museum near the park. They looked at the exhibits with great interest.
