Title: What Is a Private Hiroshima Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guest was a visitor from North America who was in Hiroshima for sightseeing before a business trip. At the memorial museum, the guest completed the visit in a relatively short time. I was a little worried that they might not be very interested, but they looked carefully at the exhibits on the Non-Proliferation Treaty, the Lucky Dragon vessel, and the section explaining how nuclear testing had an impact. They were also very absorbed in the exhibit of the paper crane folded by the former U.S. president Barack Obama. Afterward, we moved to Shukkeien Garden and finished the tour a little after 1:00 p.m. Since the guest planned to work after returning to the hotel, the tour ended about one hour earlier than scheduled.

What Does a Private Tokyo Day Tour Cover? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine and Asakusa The guests were visitors from North America who arrived in Japan the day before. Their requested destinations were Meiji Shrine, Asakusa, and Shibamata. Since Shibamata is a little far from Meiji Shrine and Asakusa, I explained that it would be difficult to include it in this tour, and we began. After visiting Meiji Shrine, the guests asked for help purchasing reserved Shinkansen tickets, so we went to the travel concierge desk at Shinjuku Station. They had been anxious about buying tickets on the day of Shinkansen travel, so they were very pleased to be able to purchase them in advance. The guests mentioned that they wanted to try "fish-shaped waffles," so after lunch I guided them to a shop selling crispy-edged taiyaki.

Title: What Is a Private Day Tour of Koyasan (Mount Koya) Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests said that this was their last tour day in Japan, and that although rushing around in the heat had been tiring, they found Koyasan cool and soothing today. They were very interested in Japanese architecture and in the differences between esoteric Buddhism, Buddhism, and Shinto, and they listened attentively. As the guests enjoyed photography, they took many pictures, especially at Okunoin. I also took several photos of the guests as keepsakes. Just after we entered Kongobuji, there was a sudden downpour, so we took our time and waited until it eased a little before heading to the bus stop. The heavy rain delayed the trains somewhat, but I made sure the train bound for Namba departed safely.

Hi! I’m an official English guide in Wakayama prefecture. I’m also a national guide as well. I’d like to expand my guide area to help tourists.
The town of Osaka offers a different atmosphere than Tokyo. I like both exciting Osaka and nature-filled Wakayama Prefecture.
If you stay in Osaka for 3 days, you can go to Koyasan for one day, or even for a day trip, so I recommend sightseeing at Koyasan.
If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, the nature of Koyasan will relax you.
I will introduce you to the unique culture, history and must-see sights.

Can You Do a Private Day Tour of Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America, traveling in Japan before some of their commitments, and they wished to see Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. It was the first time in Japan and in Kyoto for the group. Throughout the tour, they listened attentively to my explanations from beginning to end, without interrupting or peppering me with questions, laughing at the moments that called for it. As an aside, Kikuno Daimyojin, which was the first stop on today's itinerary, is a shrine famous among Kyoto locals as the ultimate place for severing bad ties. It stands right in the middle of town, near Kyoto City Hall, but the power of the deity enshrined here is said to be very strong. While one can gain something by praying here, gaining something also means losing something, so it is said that one should not visit casually.

What Is a Full-Day Private Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America, visiting Japan for the first time. After sightseeing in Tokyo, they planned to travel to Nara, Osaka, and Kyoto. At Meiji Shrine, they appeared deeply impressed by the quiet and solemn atmosphere. At the Imperial Palace, they listened with great interest to historical explanations about the role of the Emperor, the Edo Shogunate, and the Meiji Restoration. In Asakusa, they enjoyed a tempura lunch and showed interest in the explanation of the differences between shrines and temples. At Shinjuku Gyoen, they were impressed by the beautiful Japanese garden and enjoyed Japanese tea at Rakuutei, the teahouse within the garden. Since I responded fully to the guests' requests, I believe they were satisfied.

Title: What's a Private Shopping and Sightseeing Day in Tokyo Like? Shinjuku and Shibuya with a Licensed Guide The guests were a group visiting Japan for the first time from North America. They had arrived two days earlier and had already visited Shinjuku on a food tour the previous day. Today's tour of Shinjuku focused on vintage shop shopping, which the guests had expressed interest in during our email exchanges beforehand. Since some of the guests wanted to buy a brand-name bag, I guided them to KOMEHYO Shinjuku, which has a large selection. One of the guests, who needed a new bag for work, purchased a brand-name bag. The others enjoyed window shopping without making purchases. For lunch, in order to make it in time for our reserved entry to Shibuya Sky, we chose a Chinese restaurant, Ginza Aster, selected by the guests, located in Shibuya Scramble Square, the building housing the observation deck. Each of them ordered what they liked and enjoyed it along with drinks. Shark fin soup seemed to be a new experience for them. Because they took their time in the morning, we departed the Hotel 45 minutes later than the originally planned 8:30, but we managed to make it in time for the final Shibuya Sky reservation, which was a relief. We said goodbye with hugs all around.

Title: What's a Private Sake Brewery Tour in Kobe's Nada District Like? A Licensed Guide's Report Today's guests were a group visiting Japan from North America. One of them had lived in Japan as a child, but for most of the group this was their first trip to Japan. Since the guests were coming from Osaka, we met in front of the ticket gate at Uozaki Station on the Hanshin line, then visited Hama-Fukutsuru Ginjo Kobo, the Sakura Masamune Memorial Hall Ouen, the Kikumasamune Sake Brewery Museum, and the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, before I supported the guests in transferring trains from Hanshin Sumiyoshi Station to Nishinomiya Station, ending the tour. The guests love sake, and at Hama-Fukutsuru Ginjo Kobo, in addition to the free tasting, they also tasted the most expensive paid sake. During lunch at the Sakura Masamune Memorial Hall Ouen they enjoyed the most expensive sake as well, and they did a lot of shopping wherever we went. At the Kikumasamune Sake Brewery Museum, we also visited the "barrel-making" area and the "sake cup exhibition hall," both of which require a reservation. The guests studied the sake-brewing process very eagerly, so the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum felt like a "complete review of the sake-brewing process," but I believe they thoroughly enjoyed it. Finally, I saw the guests off from Hanshin Sumiyoshi Station to Nishinomiya Station, ending the tour. It was a successful tour.

What's a Private Day Tour of Osaka Like from the Cruise Terminal? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were a group visiting from North America, traveling by cruise ship. Their trip started in Tokyo, and the cruise ship arrived in Osaka the previous day, after which they visited Kyoto. Today the tour began when we met at the Osaka Cruise Terminal at 8:30. As the trip had continued through days of intense heat, everyone was a little tired, but they walked hard throughout the day. At the Umeda Sky Building Floating Garden Observatory, they marveled at the magnificent views. We discussed many topics, including Osaka's industry and postwar modernization, Japan's aging population and measures to address the declining birthrate, pension and social welfare issues, and various social challenges in comparison with those in North America. At Osaka Castle, they were impressed that so many of Japan's historical remains are still preserved, and in Osaka Castle Park they enjoyed a "takoyaki" break.

Hello, This is Shige. I was born and brought up in Osaka. I have been enjoying working as a tour guide since 2016 after retired from a manufacturing company in which I worked at the overseas department. So I experienced a lot of business with customers in Europe, Asia, Australia, and USA where my three years of living and working at the subsidiary company with my family was the most amazing experience of my life. Well, Japan has a long history including ancient remains, historic buildings and cultures at each period over 2000 years. I hope you will enjoy exploring Japan in this tour. What Is a Private Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were a group visiting from Europe. It was the final day of a three-day holiday weekend, so there were a great many tourists and the restaurants were crowded. I recommended that the guests try the sandwiches and prepared side dishes suited to their preferences at a convenience store. These days you can check ingredients using Google Translate, which is a great help because the guests can confirm the details and feel reassured that there are no mistakes. September brings many school excursions, and the museum was very crowded, so I advised the guests to move past the stationary groups of students in order to view the exhibits.

Originally, I’m a cycling guide doing cycling tours all over Japan.
But, already done Hiroshima & Miyajima tour more than 400 times.
I traveled many countries in my younger days. I traveled Europe, US, China, India, US, Mexico, Peru Australia, NZ, and so on.
I decided to use this experience to become a guide.
I’m afraid but no tipping required, because cycling guides are not allowed to have tipping in my association. And you do not need to pay for my lunch, because my lunch is prepared by our group.
Please do not hesitate to ask me anything, I’ll change the plan according to your requests.
Thank you for your understanding and please stay connected.

What Is a Private Osaka Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were on their first visit to Osaka with only one day available, so they requested extending the 4-hour tour by an additional 2 hours. After receiving an additional fee, I accommodated their wishes. As a result, we were able to cover all the places they wanted to see. That said, since we had to walk to every location, and partly due to the heat, I paced the tour to match a member of the group who was getting a bit tired. The Umeda Sky Building was a little crowded and we waited about 25 minutes, but the guests were delighted with the magnificent architecture and the view from the rooftop. After visiting the Umeda Sky Building, they returned to the cruise terminal by taxi. They were very pleased and said they had spent a wonderful day.

Hi! My name is YUKA. I’ve got the government license in 2018 and joined a half year traning to do the guide. But a half year later I started my carreer, Covid came. I should have given up guiding. During the Covid, I’ve read many books and made my own materials to explain Japanese culture, history, etc. I love guiding because the guests expand my horizon all the time and let me know their own country and culture, etc. It is really important for us all to know each other and respect each other to make this world peace. Thank you for coming to Japan! Let’s enjoy Japan together!
