Wonderful guided tour with Michi
Couldn’t ask for more. Pace was good. We covered a lot of ground in this tour.
Best way is to have a guide. Took the stress out of knowing where to go. Also gave us tips on how to get around.
We were surprised with a small gift at the end of our tour. Very sweet

Michi-san was our amazing guide. The communication for planning the tour was great. She met us at our hotel and we were off for our adventure. We did our tour the first full day we were in Tokyo, so she taught us how to navigate the subway, use our Suica card for the vending machines, and much more. We went to the Meiji Jingu Shrine, Imperial Palace, and Asakusa. Along the way we stopped at several other well known areas which was very fun and interesting. We appreciate all the historical information she shared with us. She was very knowledgeable.

Thank you very much Michi-san for making this trip memorable! Highly recommend this tour.

This was the perfect tour to end our Japan trip! Michi personalized our itinerary and was flexible in adjusting sights to include those we missed at the beginning of our journey. Michi was knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region. She also pointed out unique details about the Imperial Palace/family, gardens, shrines, fish market, and local shops. Michi even helped me buy a few gifts for myself and family members to remember our amazing adventures in Japan. Highly recommend this private tour and Michi as your guide!

We had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Michi, our private guide in Tokyo, and I can’t recommend her enough. She was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly thoughtful throughout our entire tour.

Michi didn’t just show us the sights—she brought them to life with stories, history, and cultural insights we never would have gotten on our own. She gave us space to take it all in, answered every question with care, and made the entire day feel seamless and personal.

One of the highlights was being guided through both a Shinto shrine and a Buddhist temple, where Michi explained the differences in tradition and meaning so beautifully. She even guided us through a smoke cleansing ritual and taught us how to properly offer a prayer.

If you’re visiting Tokyo and want a truly meaningful and enriching experience, book a day with Michi. It was a day we’ll never forget.

Seizo Kaminto is een uitstekende gids. De metro van Tokio is een doolhof en zonder hem zou ik een hoop tijd verloren hebben, we bezochten de highlights en Seizo wist overal wat te vertellen. Het tempo lag wel hoog en het was warm maar Seizo wist ook waar we een frisse pint konden drinken. Kortom ik ben zeer tevreden.

Highly recommend this tour for first time visit to Tokyo. Our guide Atsushi took great care to acclimate us with navigating through busy train stations efficiently with a group of eight family members. Best Tour for a Short Visit
Atsushi-san was an incredibly well-researched and friendly tour guide. His knowledge allowed us to explore and get to the historical significance of the various locations we visited. His explanations were simple but comprehensive. The six hours flew by and included some off-the-beaten opportunities including coffee at a very austere but memorable location near the fish market. I would highly recommend him as well as this tour for anyone with limited time in Tokyo wanting see as much as possible

Our guide, Atsushi, was great! He met us at our hotel in Hakone and took us clockwise to tour all the sites. He was informative and taught us a lot. Our group was two adults and a 14 year old. We saw Mt Fuji from the rope way, but unfortunately the pirate ship was canceled because of high wind. We would absolutely use Atsushi again for this tour, or any other tour he provides.

Booked Private 4 hour walking tour in Hiroshima and our family enjoyed it so much. Our local guide Kazuko is the best. She is very energetic, friendly, very knowledgeable, and proud of her hometown Hiroshima. We would not have appreciated the history and facts of Hiroshima without her. Most importantly, she knows where the best Okonomiyaki place and delicacies in Hiroshima.

Our guide, Kazuko Kuwata, is a delightful woman and toured us expertly around the shrines and temple on this beautiful island in Hiroshima Bay. The Itsukushima Shrine Otorii Gate is certainly a highlight, as it appears to float in the water at high tide, but there is much more to see. The Daishoin Buddhist temple complex is interesting and beautiful. One could easily spend more than a half-day on Miyajima. Highly recommended.

Kazz gave a great one on one 8 hour custom tour of Kyoto
Ryoich Kazuma (Kazz) was an amazing guide! He picked me up at my hotel and expertly guided me around Kyoto, showing me a custom set of sites. His background revealed interesting facts about the sites and related Japanese culture. He photographed moments for me and later shared all the pictures, allowing me to enjoy the sites rather than focusing on taking all my own pictures. He prepared an itinerary in advance and gave me useful information about how much local currency would be needed as well as estimated admission and transportation costs. Basically have 15000 yen ready and use a Suica card and everything is easy! We had a lovely lunch around midday as well. I highly recommend the tour and can’t say enough good things about Kazz! Love every moment!!

Would book again
The tour with Kazuma-san was absolutely great. As someone who has never taken a private tour before, I was unsure what to expect. Kazuma-san met us at our hotel, was very friendly and knowledgeable. His English is also good. As me and my mother took more time than planned at the different sites we visited, Kazuma-san was able to provide us with interesting explanations and history facts throughout it all, even smells of local flora, and he took photos for us even after the alloted 4 hours were over and we were on our way back. One highlight for me was a high end porcelain shop near kiyomizudera.

I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to get a feel for Kyoto’s temples and history.

Absolutely recommend!
I definitely recommend seeing some of the sights with a guide, we learned so many things we would’ve been clueless about had we done some of the temples and castles on our own. Kazz was a wonderful guide and took pictures of us with his nice camera everywhere we went, so we had a little photo album of our day at the end of it! We had so much fun and are extremely glad we did this. Thank you so much!!

We spent half a day with Kaeko Tanigawa taking us to Daitoku-ji and Kinkaku-ji temples and Nijo castle in Kyoto. She is very nice, customer-oriented and knowledgeable about Japanese culture and history.

Kaeko was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and my husband and I had the best time with her during our honeymoon in Kyoto in April! Throughout the tour, Kaeko was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and personable. She shared so much history and local insight while making the day feel relaxed and fun. Masa san is extremely knowledgeable and lovely company. My 13-yr-old daughter and I had a great day walking around the sites we had picked with him. He tooks his time to explain all the history and then kindly walked us to the spot of our next booking as it was quite confusing. I would very highly recommend him. Of all the tours we did in Tokyo Masa Sam was my favourite tour guide.

Amazing day in Tokyo
Masa was our tour guide. Masa was an amazing tour guide that communicated extremely well ahead of time about the sites we would like to see in Tokyo, picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, was very friendly and well prepared and finally but most importantly made our day in Tokyo very memorable.

We went to the Buddhist temple in Asakusa, Meiji Shinto Temple, imperial Palace, Shinjuku Gyoen National Gatden, and Shibuya Crossing. All were great and amazing suggestions by Masa.

Would highly recommend this tour as it was a private tour guide for a full day and provided discretion on which 5-6 sites you want to see. Also highly recommend our tour guide Masa who was a wealth of knowledge and very friendly and charming.

15/10 would do again.

Our tour with Masa was incredible and filled with interesting facts and history, he gave us incredible insight on each location. We loved that we were able to choose 3-4 sites from a large selection and really spend enough time at each spot. Masa was kind and knowledgable and even helped us with a restaurant reservation for later in the evening when were unable to find one.

Excellent Hiroshima Experience!
Very interesting full day with guide in Hiroshima. We started in Miyajima taking in the shrine followed by an excellent lunch stop where we enjoyed Japanese pancakes. The afternoon is a much more somber experience at the Peace Park followed by the Museum. Highly recommend this tour option over the larger cruise ship excursions. Our guide Yuka was A++++.

We thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour with Yuka, our guide. Yuka was flexible in adjusting our itinerary to a focus on the ABomb dome, the Peace Memorial Park and the Peace Memorial Museum. She helped us to budget our time so we could experience Hiroshima and not miss our return train. Yuka is intelligent, compassionate and very supportive of the Mission of the Peace Memorial. She has excellent empathy and answered our many questions about this somber event. We left with a deeper understanding of how this event has changed our World. I would highly recommend this tour and Yuka as your guide.

We had a beautiful afternoon spending 4 hours with Emi (Amy) seeing Senko-Ji temple, an open-air market, the art museum, and observatory overlooking all of Nagano. Amy is a wonderful, energetic and knowledgeable guide who speaks English very well. We enjoyed our time very much and highly recommend this tour!
