Title: What's a Full-Day Private Tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were quite busy during the tour, taking care of work calls along the way. Perhaps because of that, they seemed to relax and enjoy outdoor walking on Miyajima and elsewhere. Before Hiroshima they had visited Okinawa, where they experienced the heat, so they said Hiroshima felt more comfortable by comparison. At Itsukushima Shrine, they purchased many charms and amulets as souvenirs. They expressed a wish to visit the World Peace Memorial Cathedral, so I took them there at the end of the tour. They kindly shared with me that they had just written this review: https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g298561-d16913432-r1015470091-Hiroshima_Miyajima_Full_day_Private_Tour_with_Government_Licensed_Guide-Hirosh.html This full-day private tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima was arranged through [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/), one of Japan's largest networks of government-licensed, English-speaking private tour guides, serving all 47 prefectures.

Hi, I’m Kahori, a nationally licensed tour guide, and delighted to show people around this area. For the past almost 10 years, I have mainly guided foreign medical professionals around Hiroshima City and Miyajima, gaining a deep understanding of the effects of radiation and the support for A-bomb survivors.
Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called “art islands” which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival “Setouchi Triennale”. In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. Personally, I am very passionate about modern art and enjoy sports like stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) on our rivers.
I look forward to meeting you, interacting with you, and also, learning from you!

Title: What's a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kiyomizu-dera, Gion, and Arashiyama The guests were a group from North America. Upon arriving in Kyoto, one of the guests felt unwell and had to return to Osaka by taxi, an unexpected situation. After that, the rest of the group toured Kiyomizu-dera, the Gion area, and the Arashiyama area. During the planning stage beforehand, I had proposed several possible courses, but in the end we came full circle back to the original plan. There was some misunderstanding around the word "Original Plan," as the course I had envisioned differed from the one the guests had in mind, and there was a moment on the way when the person who made the booking became slightly displeased. However, with the support of the other guests, I believe everyone was ultimately satisfied.

What Is a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Akihabara and Local Food The guests were a group visiting from Europe, and it was their first time in Japan, so they had been very much looking forward to the tour. Before setting out, we had about a 20-minute discussion to confirm the itinerary and their wishes, and I guided them according to their requests. It was a hot and humid day, but we were able to complete the itinerary almost as planned, and I believe the guests were satisfied. For lunch, they had initially wanted a rice bowl dish, but while walking around the restaurant floor they decided they wanted to try soba, so we had it at a soba restaurant in Akihabara. It seemed to be their first time eating soba, and they were delighted, saying it was very delicious. Toward the later part of the day, one of the guests appeared a little tired, so it might have been better to include a few more breaks along the way.

Hi, I am Nobu, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter (English).
I have been an English guide in Tokyo area since January 2017.
Tokyo is a wonderful city, and you may enjoy this city by yourselves.
Even so, I recommend you go around with a guide, especially if it is your first time visit to Tokyo.
A good guide will help you to understand about Tokyo and Japan as well as how to use convenient but complicated public transportations more effectively.
I am glad if I can help you to make your tour more enjoyable.
I am looking forward to meeting you in Tokyo soon!

What Can You See on an 8-Hour Private Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were a group visiting from South America. Since some of the guests did not speak English, another member of the group kindly served as an interpreter between English and Portuguese. I was only able to hear their itinerary preferences when we met on the morning of the tour. They had already visited Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, and for religious reasons they preferred to avoid visiting temples and shrines if possible. It also became clear that some of the guests were interested in the Godzilla Head, while others were interested in the Shibuya Crossing and the Hachiko statue. So, although it was an 8-hour tour, we decided to skip Senso-ji Temple and Meiji Shrine. Since the hotel that was the starting point of the tour was very close to the famous Cafe Paulista in Ginza 8-chome, I first introduced this well-known cafe. The guests, who live in South America, were delighted. We then walked to Hamarikyu Gardens, and the guests remarked that "you can see it from the hotel window, but actually strolling through it gives a completely different impression because it is so spacious." They took many photos and enjoyed a leisurely walk. We continued from Tsukiji Market, the Kabukiza Theater, and Ginza main street to the Imperial Palace, and then walked to Tokyo Station. For lunch, I guided them to the restaurant floor of the Shin-Marunouchi Building so they could choose from many options to suit their preferences. One of the guests chose German cuisine. They enjoyed hamburger steak and ravioli, and were very satisfied, saying it was delicious. After that, famous sightseeing spots such as the Godzilla Head and the Shibuya Scramble Crossing appeared one after another right before their eyes, and the guests were greatly pleased to experience them. At the Hachiko statue, some of the guests took quick photos from the side, while others waited in the long line to take commemorative photos standing next to the statue. We headed to the entrance of Shibuya Sky with faint hope of getting same-day tickets, but unfortunately they were sold out and we could not go up. Still, the guests thanked me for taking them to so many places over the 8 hours and seemed very satisfied. We took a city bus from Shibuya to Shimbashi, enjoying the cityscape along the way, and said our goodbyes at the hotel.

What Is a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji, Meiji Shrine, and Shibuya The guests were a group visiting from Europe. One of the guests was a great fan of the Japanese language and Japanese culture, and this trip was a long-awaited dream come true. They had arrived in Tokyo the day before, and today was their first day of sightseeing in Tokyo, with plans to stay for a few more nights. We first visited the Tsukiji Outer Market. Since it was right after breakfast, they said they wanted to spot promising shops and return another day. They were especially interested to learn that a wide variety of seafood, including salmon, comes to this market from around the world. At Namiyoke Shrine and Higashi Honganji Temple, I explained the differences between Buddhism and Shinto and the influence each has had on Japanese culture, and I believe the guests enjoyed it very much. One of the guests said, "The sound of the Japanese language is wonderful," and had started studying Japanese. Many questions were asked throughout the tour. At Meiji Shrine, the guests seemed to feel the mystical atmosphere of the shrine, and they were delighted to purchase an omamori charm. Finally, I guided them to Shibuya and introduced game arcades and shops for shopping. They said they wanted to stay in Shibuya and enjoy it, so we ended the tour there.

    Hello and welcome to Tokyo!

I have been working for business with American companies for many years. I have many experiences guiding customers from around the world in Japan and taking Japanese customers to the USA and Europe.

I now have a national license as a guiding interpreter, and I want to introduce the unique gigantic city of Tokyo and the traditional Japanese culture, which is not shown in the guidebooks, to people worldwide who are interested in it. In addition, I want to introduce various Japanese foods you can enjoy only in Japan.
Unique experiences such as the Sumo Training Viewing and Tea Ceremony are optionally available.
Depending on your preference and itinerary, I can guide you in Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone so that you can enjoy your time in Japan.

Title: What Is a Private Tokyo Sightseeing Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Shibuya, Tokyo Tower, and Ginza The guests were a group from Europe visiting Japan for the first time. They planned to travel to Kyoto after sightseeing in Tokyo. At Shibuya, they observed the lively scramble crossing with great interest. At Tokyo Tower, they seemed impressed by the magnificent views of Tokyo. At the Imperial Palace, they listened with interest to historical explanations about the role of the Emperor, the Meiji Restoration, and the Edo Shogunate. In Ginza, they showed interest in the famous brand shops and department stores. Since they planned to do some shopping in Ginza and then return to their hotel on their own, we parted ways in Ginza. However, after checking the conditions at the summit online in advance, I found that it was covered in fog, and since the situation did not seem to be changing, I altered the plan. After visiting Hokkaido Shrine, we had lunch and then went to the Shiroi Koibito Park instead. There was a moment when the rain fell heavily, but by the time we arrived at the Shiroi Koibito Park, patches of blue sky appeared, and we were able to enjoy viewing the beautiful flowers in the garden. Title: What's a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama, and Fushimi Inari The guests were visitors from North America. The composition of the group was not entirely clear to me. Inside the taxi they were almost silent. On the day of the tour, I contacted them via a messaging app and through [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) from the hotel front desk more than 20 minutes in advance, but there was no response until a little past the scheduled time. When we finally met, they told me that neither of them had checked the messages. At Kinkaku-ji, the guests were delighted when I showed them food samples. They bought wasabi-flavored peanuts and matcha green tea. When I explained the sake with gold flakes at the Matsui Sake Brewery stall, they said they enjoyed sake, so when we went to Arashiyama, they did a small tasting at the Tanzan Sake Brewery stall next to Arashiyama Station on the Randen line and bought a fruity sake they liked. They also bought personalized chopsticks with a name engraved at the chopstick shop on the 2nd floor of Shoryuen. After Fushimi Inari, they said they wanted to buy tickets for the "Haruka" train for the next day at the less crowded Inari Station, so we went to the unstaffed Midori-no-madoguchi ticket office, but it was not possible there. Finally we tried the unstaffed Midori-no-madoguchi on the 3rd floor of Kyoto Station, but it still did not work out, so in the end I took them to a staffed Midori-no-madoguchi ticket office before we parted ways. Even after various explanations, there was not much reaction, so for me it turned out to be a job with a lower sense of satisfaction.

I’m Ryoichi Kazuma and my nickname is “Kazz”. I live in Kyotanabe city next to Kyoto city. I want guests to enjoy Kyoto by seeing and experiencing not only from outside but also from inside. I offer various information from daily matters to traditional cultures. Most destinations in Kyoto are located on the eastern side or the western side. As I want to guide guests to as many destinations as possible, I make an efficient itinerary and recommend a taxi use to save time. Additionally, I take pictures at various spots and finally share the link to my storage. By doing so, guests can download their favorite pictures from my storage. Please enjoy Kyoto night and day!

What Is a Private Kanazawa Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were a group visiting for a family trip, some of whom could speak Japanese. They mentioned that they included Kanazawa in this trip because they were drawn to its surviving samurai culture. For lunch, the guests requested ramen, so at their wish we went to a ramen restaurant outside of peak lunch hours. They seemed to enjoy it very much and finished it completely, including the soup. Although they had not requested it in advance, the guests took great interest in the Hishi Yagura turret, the Gojukken Nagaya storehouse, and the Hashizumemon Tsuzuki Yagura turret at Kanazawa Castle, and truly enjoyed them.
