Title: What Can You See on a Private Day Tour of Kyoto? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America who had no particular requests about where to go, so I created an itinerary that mixed some lesser-known spots with major highlights. They were delighted wherever we went and were very pleasant guests. I showed them many places, though they did not do any shopping at all. The bamboo grove in Sagano is currently in its leaf-changing season (chikushu), so it looks a little less impressive compared to its peak. Reporting the tour route has become much easier. Thank you very much.

I’m Ryoichi Kazuma and my nickname is “Kazz”. I live in Kyotanabe city next to Kyoto city. I want guests to enjoy Kyoto by seeing and experiencing not only from outside but also from inside. I offer various information from daily matters to traditional cultures. Most destinations in Kyoto are located on the eastern side or the western side. As I want to guide guests to as many destinations as possible, I make an efficient itinerary and recommend a taxi use to save time. Additionally, I take pictures at various spots and finally share the link to my storage. By doing so, guests can download their favorite pictures from my storage. Please enjoy Kyoto night and day!

Title: What Is a Rainy-Day Private Hakone Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report Despite heavy rain, the guests were worried about whether we would still set out, but I reassured them by explaining that this was exactly why I was there to accompany them, and we departed with peace of mind. Even in the poor weather, the group enjoyed the day together. At Owakudani, they tried the famous black eggs, and at a local crafts shop they were greatly impressed by a demonstration of yosegi marquetry woodwork, purchasing a puzzle box as a souvenir. During the various waiting times for meals and transport, I introduced aspects of Japanese culture, including kanji, which they found very interesting. Because of the rain, they decided to skip the Hakone Open-Air Museum. I was humbled to receive a very kind and highly rated review.

What Is a Private Sapporo Day Tour Like in Hokkaido? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were a group visiting Japan, and since they understood Japanese, we agreed the tour could be conducted in Japanese. The weather was fine, so the view from the TV Tower was clear and the Okurayama Ski Jump was clearly visible as well. It was their first visit to Hokkaido, and they were delighted with the fresh seafood rice bowls, while one of the guests ordered wagyu beef. At the group's request, we visited Shiroi Koibito Park, where one of the guests was happy with the delicious ice cream and they purchased many souvenirs. Hokkaido Shrine was not crowded, so they were able to enjoy the quiet atmosphere.

What Is a Private Nature and Temple Day Tour of Nikko and Okunikko Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America who mentioned in advance by email that they wanted to see nature, so a 3-hour sightseeing taxi was chartered to show them nature across a wide area. I had expected it to take more time, but they were relatively quick and walked at a fast pace, so everything went very smoothly. They said they enjoyed the nature more than enough even so. Since the elevation is high, I had told them to bring a jacket for the cold, so they had jackets, but their legs were in short shorts and looked cold, and they seemed concerned about insect bites, so I realized I should prepare insect repellent spray from now on. (I did have disinfectant for leeches.) In Okunikko, azaleas such as Togoku-mitsuba-tsutsuji and Yama-tsutsuji were blooming in abundance, and the fresh greenery was beautiful, which delighted them very much. In the morning Okunikko seemed cold, but at the shrines and temples in the afternoon it was hot. Since I had talked about the history of Nikko and other topics in the taxi during the morning, they seemed tired from the heat at Toshogu Shrine and elsewhere in the afternoon, so we kept it brief. I asked whether they would like to take a break at a cafe along the way, but they said they wanted to see all the places on the plan and then head to the station early to rest near the station. We had planned to part ways at the station around 4 o'clock, but it ended up being slightly earlier. They said they enjoyed the harmony of abundant nature and the shrines and temples.

What Is a Private Walking Tour of Hiroshima's Peace Park Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from Oceania. Since they felt they could visit the museum on their own, they indicated that it did not need to be included in the tour, so I conducted a walking tour suited for first-time visitors. We moved through the area while viewing the A-bomb remains, and took a short break for taiyaki along Hondori. When we arrived at the Peace Memorial Museum, I guided them only to the Peace Watch Tower from the outside, and then continued with the park tour. When the tour was coming to an end, I asked, and they said the museum would be too much and chose not to enter. They purchased only the catalog, and decided to have okonomiyaki along Hondori, but partway through they changed their minds and decided to walk back to Hiroshima Station. I recommended taking the bus or train, but they chose to walk. I gave them general directions and ended the tour.

Hi. I’m Michi. I’m a national licensed tour guide in English.
I want to introduce many faces and charms of Japan and make your stay in Japan more fascinating and satisfying.

I was born and raised in Hiroshima. My first tour in English was as a volunteer guide for the visitors to my school when I was a junior high school student. It gave me a great opportunity to study about the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
I spent my life in Hiroshima except for 6 years; 1 year in the UK as a student and 5 years working in Singapore and Malaysia. During this period I enjoyed meeting and talking with people from different cultural backgrounds.
These experiences encouraged me to be a licensed tour guide.

In Hiroshima, there are two famous World Heritage Sites, the Atomic Bomb Dome in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial & Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima.
I have experienced many tours of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum & Park since I was a junior high school student. I would like to introduce you to the a-bomb legacies that are still existing in the city and the stories under the mushroom cloud.
I also would like to share time with you on a historic island, Miyajima. There is one of the most famous Shinto shrines, the Itsukushima Shrine. We can share an enjoyable time by exploring a sacred atmosphere, tradition, nature, food, etc.

I am also an official ‘A-bomb legacy successor’ designated by the City of Hiroshima. An A-bomb Legacy Successor is a memory keeper of the A-bomb survivors. To ensure that the A-bomb survivors’ experiences and desires for peace are faithfully inherited and shared with as many people as possible, the City has started a three-year training program for official ‘A-bomb Legacy Successors. ‘

Let me support your stay in Japan and I look forward to showing you the best of Japan!
    Hope to see you soon!

What's a Private Kyoto Culture and Shopping Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report The guests were visitors from North America, and it was a first visit to Japan for part of the group. The guests showed strong intellectual curiosity, asking engaging questions about the historical events of the places we visited, cultural concepts such as wabi-sabi, and the food, then comparing these with their own background and asking further questions — which kept me very busy but was truly rewarding. There were also many sensitive questions from a geopolitical perspective concerning current affairs, and while I was careful in my responses, we were able to exchange views. The guests also devoted time to shopping, and gave the impression of having studied well in advance about paintings, embroidery, incense, knives, and more.

Hello! My name is Hideki Maruyama. I was born in Osaka and raised in the Greater Tokyo area. I obtained my National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter Certificate in February 2016.
I spent 23 years working at a leading Japanese automotive company, including 7 years posted overseas. I then worked for a German premium automotive manufacturer for 13 years, followed by 6 years as an advisor to a British energy company. Through these roles at global corporations, I developed and refined key skills such as:
    1. Cross-cultural communication
    2. A deep understanding of business elites and affluent customers
    3. The ability to deliver impactful and impressive presentations in English
In addition to my regular duties, I often served as an interpreter for top executives during meetings with foreign government officials. I also had opportunities to introduce aspects of Japan—such as our national character and consumer preferences—to leadership teams in both the German and British companies.
As a tour guide, I’ve had the pleasure of guiding guests from a wide range of countries especially after the pandemic, including the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Romania, Slovenia, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Hong Kong, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Laos, Turkey, Jordan, Kenya and Israel.
When guiding, I always keep in mind to go beyond what guests can find on social media or ChatGPT. I believe my professional background allows me to offer unique insights, and I am encouraged when guests mention this in their reviews

While the rest of the group visited USJ, one guest joined the Koyasan tour, wishing to experience the history and mystical spiritual power of the sacred mountain. The guest was especially moved by Nyonindo, the Danjo Garan complex, and Okunoin. What Is a Private Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji, Asakusa, and Shinjuku Although I had been a little concerned because I had not received any contact about the meeting point until the day before, on the morning of the tour I received a message that the guests were staying at a Hotel, so we were able to carry out the tour without any problems. It was also fortunate that the accommodation was in a location easy to reach from my home. The guests showed particular interest in Tsukiji, where they not only enjoyed sashimi and skewered grilled wagyu beef but also actively purchased items such as dashi stock packets. I think we ended up spending more time in Tsukiji than usual. In Asakusa we stopped by shops such as a chopstick store, but for the most part it remained window shopping. After the tour of Asakusa, I explained the locations of places such as Don Quijote and sushi restaurants in Shinjuku before we parted ways.

Hi. My name is Masafumi Miyazaki. Please call me “Sam”. I am a government-licensed guide.
I was born in Tokyo and was raised in the suburbs of Tokyo called Tama area. When I was in university, I majored in western dramas, so I am good at playing like an actor.
I like reading, listening to the music, and walking. I belong to several walking clubs, and sometimes I guide the members around Tokyo.
One of my strengths as a guide is that I know well about kombu, Japanese kelps. In December every year, I work at a traditional kombu shop in Tsukiji Fish Market. At that shop, I learned a lot of things related to kombu or other ingredients for washoku. I can explain the different characteristics of them to you.
Also, I am familiar with Japanese flowers and plants. If you stroll around a Japanese garden with me, I am sure you will be able to enjoy beautiful flowers and unique plants in every season.
I look forward to meeting you. Thank you.

What's a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji and Wagyu Lunch The guests were a group visiting from overseas. They moved around throughout the day, finding elevators at each location, and were able to board and exit trains without any trouble. For lunch, they savored A5-grade "Matsusaka beef." In particular, while walking through the crowded narrow lanes of the Tsukiji Outer Market, they were amazed by the liveliness and bustling atmosphere of the area. At the end of the tour, one of the guests wished to get a haircut, so I guided them to a barbershop inside a department store, and the tour concluded there.
