Title: What Can You See on a 6-Hour Private Tour of Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report
Body:
Tour name: Tokyo 6 Hours Weather: Sunny, 31°C Guest: A solo traveler from the Middle East
[First stop] Asakusa After taking in a view of the whole Asakusa area from the 8th floor of the Culture and Tourism Center, we strolled through Kaminarimon Gate, Nakamise Street, and Senso-ji Temple. The guest experienced Japanese culture firsthand, including drawing an omikuji fortune (which turned out to be "bad luck"!), the smoke of the large incense burner, purification at the water basin, and prayers at Senso-ji Temple. I explained the differences between Buddhism and Shinto. Many souvenirs were purchased.
[Second stop] Kappabashi Kitchenware Street The guest wanted to buy a knife, but it turned out they were looking for a survival knife, so we gave up on that at the shop.
[Third stop] Ueno Park → Ameyoko After lunch (the requested tonkatsu), we strolled through the park. We visited a survival knife shop in Ameyoko, but it was closed for the day, so once again we had to give up. The guest gave a wry smile, saying today was "bad luck" (the omikuji fortune).
[Fourth stop] Yanesen area From Yanaka Ginza we passed through Hebi-michi ("Snake Alley") to Nezu Shrine. We parted ways at Nezu Station.
A notable stop on the tour was Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa. Senso-ji is Tokyo's oldest temple, founded in the 7th century, and it is dedicated to Kannon, the Buddhist goddess of mercy. Visitors approach the temple through the iconic Kaminarimon Gate with its massive red lantern, followed by Nakamise Street, a bustling shopping arcade lined with stalls selling traditional snacks and souvenirs. The temple grounds feature a large incense burner, where visitors often waft the smoke over themselves for good health, offering a memorable introduction to Japanese religious customs and the blend of Buddhist and Shinto traditions.

Tripadvisor review: Toyosu Market Morning Tuna Auction and Tsukiji Food Tour with Licensed Guide
The Toyosu tuna auction experience was incredible. I have always wanted to see the auction but until this trip had not managed to fit it into my itinerary. So on this trip I decided to make the early morning effort to see it and in the process I was fortunate to win the lottery and get an even better view of the whole experience ! A shout out to my guide who made the experience first rate, Katsu-San. Katsu-sans knowledge of the market and the tuna auction process, and his enthusiasm to share it, was exceptional. I would recommend him and the tour without hesitation . I would not have understand what I was seeing without his guidance and good humour.
