Hello, I am Junko Ichikawa, a licensed tour guide. For over 20 years, I enjoyed a career as an English teacher. I am often told by my guests that my voice is exceptionally clear and easy to follow, ensuring you can enjoy my stories even in busy areas.
I have extensive experience guiding guests through local treasures like the Gonda Shuzo sake brewery and historic shrines, sharing our spiritual roots through my personal experiences. I also hold a Master’s license in Calligraphy (Shihan) and can offer demonstrations or lessons.
On a personal note, I have a very active spirit and a deep love for sports. I often go to watch rugby matches in my hometown, “Rugby Town Kumagaya.” I also enjoy Kimono-dressing and Kodo (the Way of Incense) as my personal hobbies. My greatest wish is for you to discover the true heart of Japan and leave with a soul full of joy. I cannot wait to meet you!
