What Is a 4-Hour Private Walking Tour of Yokohama Like for Cruise Passengers? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests arrived in port on a cruise ship from North America. The tour was arranged as a 4-hour course, with a plan to stroll through parks they had requested in advance, then drop them off at the Cup Noodles Museum adjacent to the port, where we would part ways. Blessed with fine weather and with cherry blossoms and other flowers in full bloom, the guests walked the above route energetically. They kept a brisk pace without taking any breaks along the way, and we toured the Minato Mirai area as planned, arriving at the Cup Noodles Museum in two and a half hours. Since they would return to the adjacent port on their own, I completed the admission procedures and we parted ways. It was a short but concentrated amount of time, but they seemed to fully enjoy strolling along Yokohama's golden route.

Our guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable about the are and guided us to several temples using public transportation. We stopped for a traditional Japanese lunch and saw some of the specialty wood carvings from the area. Our guide enjoyed the beauty of nature and his enthusiasm helped us to pay attention to the natural beauty as well.
