The tour started at 11:00 at Hotel New Otani, the Main and ended at 15:00. The day ran to 4 hours from start to finish.
Over the course of the day the route took in Tsukiji at 11:30, Yanaka Ginza at 13:00 and Akihabara at 14:20.

The guests were a group visiting from North America. Since one member of the group had trouble walking, they requested that we travel by taxi throughout the day. They had visited Tsukiji the day before but wanted to enjoy the food again, so I guided them there once more. They sampled a comparison of three kinds of tuna belly, fresh oysters, and wagyu beef. They found the wagyu beef bun unusual and delicious. They especially enjoyed the three-kind tuna belly comparison and the fresh oysters, so I took them to the same shop twice.
After that, we went to Yanaka Ginza. There were shops selling teapots and tea leaves, as well as a coffee shop where the owner writes your name in Japanese kanji, and they had it written on a decorative paper card. They said they wanted to display it in their room. They also enjoyed menchi katsu and other snacks. Afterward, at the request of one member of the group, we went to Akihabara, where they purchased Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Ayaka, in Tokyo. She was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable, making the entire day both enjoyable and informative. Ayaka took the time to understand our preferences and thoughtfully guided us to some of Tokyo’s highlights that suited our interests perfectly.
She also showed us how to navigate the public transportation system, which made the rest of our trip much easier and less stressful. Throughout the tour, she shared personal and family experiences that gave us a deeper understanding of Japanese culture?something we truly appreciated.
Ayaka even took beautiful photos of our family, which was such a thoughtful touch and gave us wonderful memories to take home. We had a fantastic time and couldn’t have asked for a better guide.
