- 11:00 ~ 12 :30 Tsukiji Outer Market and lunch
- 13:00 ~ 14:00 Asakusa Sensoji Temple

What's a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, Tsukiji, and Asakusa
The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from North America. The main theme was a visit to Tsukiji Market, but since the early morning is crowded with trade buyers, I first guided them to Meiji Shrine. They seemed to greatly enjoy the serene atmosphere of Meiji Shrine and took their time to worship. They listened attentively to my explanation of Shinto, and enjoyed drawing omikuji fortunes and purchasing omamori charms. Afterward, since walking a long way on the gravel paths had tired their feet, at their request we returned to the Hotel once so they could change clothes. At Tsukiji Market, they explored the Tsukiji Uogashi and the shopping street with great interest and bought various souvenirs. They savored sea urchin nigiri at a sushi restaurant, then moved on to Asakusa, where they visited Senso-ji Temple before returning to the Hotel. They thoroughly enjoyed their first trip to Japan.
