What Is a Private Toyosu Market and Tsukiji Tour Like in Tokyo? A Licensed Guide's Report
I guided a group visiting from Oceania around Toyosu Market and the Tsukiji Outer Market. Some of the guests loved sushi and sashimi, so I was a little unsure how to show them the fish market, but everyone was delighted to see the tuna auction. While some of the guests took a short break at a cafe on the dining floor of the intermediate wholesalers' market, I recommended a sushi restaurant to the others, and after a seafood rice bowl they added extra orders of fatty tuna, sea urchin, and cod milt, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Excellent tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide who customized the tour to my interests. As a seasoned solo traveler, my interests are specific and focused, my guide Seky san was a great match and provided a great itinerary that was realistic and varied with our time allotment.
