Title: What Is the Toyosu Tuna Auction Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Toyosu Market and Tsukiji
I had the pleasure of guiding the guests, who have been living in Japan for two years, to see the tuna auction at Toyosu Market. They have become quite accustomed to Japanese cuisine and had previously visited the Tsukiji Outer Market on their own. While enjoying sushi and sashimi, they became eager to see a tuna auction in person, which is why they chose this tour and even stayed at a hotel in Toyosu specifically for it. After the visit to Toyosu Market, I guided them around Tsukiji, where they were able to watch a 160kg bluefin tuna being cut up right before their eyes at the storefront of a specialty tuna shop.

Great tour, customized to my interests, Edo period cultural sites. Mr. Seky was an excellent guide who reached out to me before the tour and proposed an itinerary based on my interests. Excellent tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide who customized the tour to my interests. As a seasoned solo traveler, my interests are specific and focused, my guide Seky san was a great match and provided a great itinerary that was realistic and varied with our time allotment.
