What's a Full-Day Private Tokyo Tour Like for First-Time Cruise Visitors? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America arriving in Japan for the first time by cruise ship. The only specific request they had made in advance was to see the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, leaving the rest up to me, so I built a full-day sightseeing route circling Tokyo starting from Shibuya. They seemed very satisfied with the hozuki (ground cherry) market at Senso-ji Temple and with shopping at stores such as a 100-yen shop. As they were completely unfamiliar with Tokyo's transportation network and sightseeing information, I provided full attendance and accompanied them all the way to their hotel in Yokohama. They were very grateful that they were able to visit wonderful sights efficiently and return safely to their hotel.

The Natural Beauty of Kamakura
Our guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable about the are and guided us to several temples using public transportation. We stopped for a traditional Japanese lunch and saw some of the specialty wood carvings from the area. Our guide enjoyed the beauty of nature and his enthusiasm helped us to pay attention to the natural beauty as well.
