What Is a Private Walking Tour of Tokyo's Quiet Neighborhoods Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America who had just arrived at 4:00 that morning. Under mild weather that was neither too hot nor too cold, I guided them smoothly through the itinerary we had agreed upon in advance. They listened with great interest to my explanations at each location, which made guiding them very easy. They seemed to particularly enjoy the calm, less crowded spots such as Koishikawa Korakuen Garden, Nezu Shrine, and the Yanaka-Nezu-Sendagi area. To balance out the quiet places, I ended the tour by taking them to the energetic Shibuya Scramble Crossing, after which I saw them off at their hotel, bringing the tour to a successful close.
