Title: What's a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour from a Yokohama Cruise Ship Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America who arrived at Yokohama's Daikoku Pier aboard a cruise ship and wished to enjoy one day of sightseeing in Tokyo. Because we had corresponded by email in advance, the itinerary went very smoothly. The guests were very interested in the ingredients at Tsukiji Market. At Tsukiji I bought them tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), fried cheese, and Shine Muscat grapes, and in Asakusa I bought kibi dango and nure-senbei rice crackers, all of which they enjoyed and praised as delicious. For lunch we had monjayaki and okonomiyaki at a well-known Asakusa restaurant. When I cooked the monjayaki for them, they were delighted, and they looked truly happy, saying both the monjayaki and okonomiyaki were very tasty.

After that, we visited the classic course of Takeshita Street, Meiji Shrine, and Shibuya. Even within the limited time, we were able to move efficiently and finished the tour almost on schedule, and the guests were very satisfied. To celebrate the occasion, I gave them a set of chopsticks, a tenugui hand towel, and a folding fan, which they were also very pleased to receive.
