Tour Itinerary in Detail

Meeting at @ Yokohama Daikoku Pier at 13:00, the group explored Kanagawa until the tour ended at 18:45. The day ran to 5 hours and 45 minutes from start to finish.

The itinerary covered Shibuya Scramble Crossing・Hachiko at 14:20, Harajuku Takeshita Street at 14:50 and Rikugien Garden at 16:25.

What Can You See on a Private Car Tour of Tokyo Before a Cruise Departure? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group from Europe visiting Japan for the first time. Because of the departure time of their cruise ship, they needed to return to Daikoku Pier by 18:45, which shaped the itinerary as described above. Some of the guests enjoyed taking photos in Shibuya and shopping at stores in Harajuku. At Rikugien, the group was impressed by the beautiful Japanese garden and listened with great interest to the historical explanations about Yanagisawa Yoshiyasu, who created Rikugien, as well as the Edo Shogunate and the Tokugawa shoguns. The guests also enjoyed views of Tokyo from the car, including Tokyo Tower and the Rainbow Bridge. Since I responded exactly to the guests' requests, I believe they were satisfied. As this tour used a private chartered vehicle, there were no advance transportation expenses to be reimbursed.
