What Is a Private Walking Tour of Tsukiji, Fukagawa, and Yanaka in Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visiting Japan for the first time. We first visited Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple and the Tsukiji Outer Market. They seemed amazed by the number of shops and the crowds of people. After showing them a variety of places, we set aside about an hour for lunch, and everyone enjoyed the food of their choice. After that, we went to the Fukagawa Edo Museum, where the streets of the Edo period are recreated, and they had fun taking photographs. Next, we visited Nezu Shrine, where they admired the beautiful buildings and paid their respects at Otome Inari and other spots. Along Snake Road they enjoyed looking at ordinary residential houses, and the conversation flowed lively. Then we browsed various shops at Yanaka Ginza, took the Yamanote Line from Nippori, and returned to the Hotel. The weather was pleasant and it did not rain. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
