Over the course of the day the route took in Meiji Shrine & Harajuku at 8:40, Imperial Palace at 10:00, Asakusa at 11:30, Shibuya at 13:00 and Guide ends at 14:00.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Shinjuku to Harajuku by train (150JPY); Meiji-jingumae to Sakuradamon by subway (180JPY); Nihonbashi to Asakusa by subway (180JPY); Asakusa to Shibuya by subway (260JPY). Across 4 sections the fare came to 770JPY per person.

The guests were a group visiting Japan for the first time from North America. One of the guests was studying Japanese. This 6-hour private tour with a [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guide began at Meiji Shrine, where I explained a wide range of Japanese culture, including Shinto and Buddhism, Japan's modernization, Emperor Meiji, sake, and sumo.
After that, at the Imperial Palace I explained about emperors and shoguns, and in Asakusa I discussed the syncretism of Shinto and Buddhism as well as the entertainments enjoyed by common people during the Edo period. The guests seemed to genuinely enjoy the tour, and when I introduced a tempura restaurant called "Takao" in Shibuya at the end, they were very grateful. The guests thanked me, saying it had been a very rich and rewarding 6-hour tour.

Kozee was a wonderful guide. He was genuinely interested in sharing his country with us and answered all questions with knowledge. He was very flexible and tailored our day to fit our interests and needs. He had some great suggestions.
