Title: What Does a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Cover? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, the Imperial Palace, and Meiji Shrine

The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from North America. [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guided them to classic Tokyo sightseeing spots, including Asakusa, the Imperial Palace, and Meiji Shrine.

In Asakusa, the guests tried strawberry daifuku, and at the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace they enjoyed the plum blossoms and winter cherry blossoms. Along the way, we stopped at Tokyo Station, where I helped with purchasing Shinkansen tickets. For lunch we had ramen at the Marunouchi Building before heading to Meiji Shrine. I guided them as far as Takeshita Street, explained how to get back, and we said goodbye. I took photos of the guests at each place we visited. Since we were able to cover Tokyo's sightseeing spots during the tour, they planned to make the next day a shopping day.

I hope this trip to Japan becomes a wonderful memory for the guests.

I’m Yoko Kusumoto, a government lisenced English-speaking guide.
I have been living in Tokyo for more than 20 years, and it’s my pleasure to show you around Tokyo. I recommend Meiji Shrine and Asakusa if you are first time in Japan. I also recommend off-the-beaton path spots like Fukagawa Fudodo and Gotokuji Temple(lucky cat temple).
I was born and brought up in Kamakura, where the first shogun’s government was established. It will be my pleasure to introduce you my hometown as well.

I live with my husband and one teenage son.
I like traveling, flowers, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, and exploring Tokyo.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.
