What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting Japan for the first time, and wished to arrive a little early to see the main sights. [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guides lead private one-day tours of Tokyo for guests visiting Japan.
I was able to show them the Imperial Palace as planned, but in Asakusa the rain suddenly grew heavy, and we were forced to take shelter for about 15 minutes. This caused a delay in the latter part of the day, and for the final stop at Meiji Shrine, I had to explain the overview at the entrance and end the tour there.
Since the guests had requested ramen for lunch, I took them to Ramen Watanabe in Asakusa, and they were very pleased.
The weather was not on our side, but I believe the guests were satisfied with the tour itself.

Even so, I recommend you go around with a guide, especially if it is your first time visit to Tokyo.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
