- 6. 14:00 Shibuya (Scramble Crossing, Hachiko Statue)
- 7. 14:30 Harajuku (Meiji Shrine, Takeshita Street)
- 8. 15:40 Disband at Shimbashi Station
What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting Japan for the first time and planned to stay for a while, so on this day they wished to learn how to use public transportation and to gain an understanding of Japanese culture, history, and customs, while also visiting the main sightseeing spots.
Regarding the Imperial Palace, the guests wanted to visit the East Gardens on another day, so they asked me to show them the entrances to both the Outer Garden and the East Gardens, which I did.
For lunch, the guests very much wanted to try ramen, so I took them to a ramen restaurant in Asakusa, and they were very pleased.
The weather was fine as well, and I believe the guests were satisfied with the tour.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
