What Is a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, Akihabara, and Asakusa

The guests were a group from North America visiting Japan for the first time. Since they had expressed interest in history, culture, and food, and one of the guests enjoyed anime and manga, we settled on a balanced plan covering Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, Akihabara, and Asakusa.

The group especially enjoyed the fashion on Takeshita Street and the Radio Kaikan in Akihabara. We were able to find goods from a favorite manga that they had mentioned beforehand, and the whole group was delighted. At a large electronics store, I guided them through the home appliance section, where they were thrilled by the refrigerators and rice cookers. For lunch, we chose a restaurant serving xiaolongbao, which the group had wanted to try, and they were very pleased with how delicious it was.
