The itinerary covered Tsukiji Fish Market at 9:30, the Imperial Palace at 11:00, Omotesando at 11:50, Takeshita Street at 12:50, Shinjuku Gyoen at 13:25, Meiji Jingu shrine at 14:25 and Shibuya crossing at 15:00.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Tsukiji to Sakuradamon by bus (210JPY); Nijubashimae to Omotesando by train (180JPY); Harajuku to Sendagaya by train (150JPY); Sendagaya to Harajuku by train (150JPY); Harajuku to Shibuya by train (150JPY). At Tsukiji, the guests listened with great interest to explanations about Japanese food culture and enjoyed browsing the various shops. They tasted tuna and Japanese fruits, repeatedly exclaiming how delicious everything was. At the Imperial Palace, they listened attentively to stories about the history of Tokyo and the Imperial family, asked questions, and were deeply impressed by the beauty of the palace grounds. On Omotesando, they strolled through the back streets and enjoyed a bowl of ramen, and on Takeshita Street they had fun visiting an animal cafe and looking at the unique and eye-catching clothing. Since we had more time than expected, I took the guests to Shinjuku Gyoen on short notice, where they were delighted by the Japanese garden, took many photos, and enjoyed the chrysanthemum festival. At Meiji Shrine, they smiled warmly at the charming sight of children dressed up for Shichi-Go-San. At Shibuya Crossing, the guests were amazed by the sheer number of people, and I also took them to Nonbei Yokocho. As they planned to continue exploring after the tour, we finished in Shibuya. I live with my husband and a dog named Alice. She was a rescue dog and I adopted her about 4 years ago. Now she is a very precious family member. I have two daughters, the elder one has a child and the younger has a aroma shop in a town near Mr. Fuji. I sometimes visit there with Alice.

We had an amazing experience on this tour and couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Japan. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made everything easy to understand while sharing so much interesting history and local insight. She took us to a variety of places we wouldn’t have found on our own and made sure we were comfortable the entire time.
This tour is perfect for first-time visitors—it really helps you get familiar with the area, culture, and transportation without feeling overwhelmed. Everything was well-organized, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Japan!

Our guide Motoko was so polite & engaging. She customised the tour around things we enjoy and took us to a traditional Japanese restaurant for lunch which we would never have found.
We only had a couple of days in Tokyo so wanted to make the most of it. I would highly recommend this tour & Motoko if you are in the same position.
