Tour Itinerary in Detail
Meeting at Hotel at 9:30, the group explored Tokyo until the tour ended at 16:00. The day ran to 6 hours and 30 minutes from start to finish. It included lunch at Asakusa Gonpachi at 12:30.
The itinerary covered Tsukiji Market at 9:45, Asakusa at 11:00, Meiji Shrine at 14:00 and Harajuku at 15:00.

What Is a Private Tokyo Day Tour with a Licensed Guide Like? Tsukiji, Asakusa, and Harajuku Report
The guests were an energetic group despite having arrived the previous day. At Tsukiji, some of the guests kept saying how delicious the eel and the strawberry candy were. At the Nakamise shopping street in Asakusa and Takeshita Street in Harajuku, they carefully selected their own souvenirs. For lunch they each ordered tendon, a seafood rice bowl, and yakitori, and one of the guests enjoyed two glasses of Super Dry beer. Japanese beer seems to be very much to their liking. They were pleased to be able to purchase a one-day subway pass together with a new IC card. When I suggested a few places to visit after the tour, they showed interest in Shibuya Parco and the Pepper Cafe.

Tour of Tokyo- family with older teens
My family had an excellent tour around Tokyo with Rumi as two adults and two older teenagers. Rumi met us at our hotel and dropped us back there afterwards, which was really helpful as we were struggling with Shinjuku station. She was knowledgeable in the fish market and suggested food we might want to try from the best stalls. She showed us a great place for lunch where the kids enjoyed katsu curry. Rumi was very kind at the temple, showing us how to test our luck and providing offerings as well as walking us around the streets to buy souvenirs. She also helped with printing train tickets, checked up on us after an earthquake and sent through photos she had taken, none of which she had to do- she really went above and beyond expectations and made our first day in Japan a day to remember.
