Tour Itinerary in Detail
This private tour of Tokyo began at 10:30, when the guide met the guests at @ Keio Plaza, and finished at 16:40. The day ran to 6 hours and 10 minutes from start to finish.
From there the group visited Tsukiji at 11:00, Kabukiza at 12:00, Asakusa at 12:30 and Meiji Shrine at 15:00.

What Does a One-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Look Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Tsukiji, Asakusa, and Meiji Shrine
The guests were visitors from Europe. Since it was their first time in Japan and they wanted to see the main highlights, I guided them to Tsukiji, Asakusa, and Meiji Shrine, stopping by the Kabukiza Theatre along the way.
They said they did not particularly need lunch, so they had a little takoyaki in Asakusa and seemed to enjoy their beer very much.
They did not seem especially interested in souvenirs, so we did not stop at many shops.
Meiji Shrine, which we visited last, was a great favorite, and they looked very relaxed and content there.
Since they would have only one more day in Tokyo, I introduced places we could not reach today, such as Ginza and the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, and we parted ways at the hotel.

Tour of Tokyo- family with older teens
My family had an excellent tour around Tokyo with Rumi as two adults and two older teenagers. Rumi met us at our hotel and dropped us back there afterwards, which was really helpful as we were struggling with Shinjuku station. She was knowledgeable in the fish market and suggested food we might want to try from the best stalls. She showed us a great place for lunch where the kids enjoyed katsu curry. Rumi was very kind at the temple, showing us how to test our luck and providing offerings as well as walking us around the streets to buy souvenirs. She also helped with printing train tickets, checked up on us after an earthquake and sent through photos she had taken, none of which she had to do- she really went above and beyond expectations and made our first day in Japan a day to remember.
