The itinerary covered Meiji Shrine at 10:20, Shibuya Scramble Square at 11:30, Tsukiji Market at 13:00 and Asakusa at 14:00.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Daimon to Harajuku by subway (366JPY); Harajuku to Shibuya by train (146JPY); Shibuya to Tsukiji by train (209JPY); Tsukiji to Asakusa by subway (209JPY). Across 4 sections the fare came to 930JPY per person.

The guests were visitors from Europe who love to travel and have visited many countries around the world. Since there were no specific requests, on the morning of the tour I suggested Meiji Shrine, Tsukiji, and Asakusa, and they agreed. At the end, they said they wanted to finish by enjoying a beer in Asakusa, so I recommended the observation lounge on the 22nd floor of the Asahi Beer headquarters building. After we parted ways, they sent me a thank-you email along with a photo of themselves enjoying a beer while taking in the view. I was glad to see that they seemed very satisfied.

Very nice to meet you! I’m An, your guide for Tokyo and Kamakura. I’m honored to have the opportunity to show you around this time. (For the Tokyo Tour)Tokyo offers a wide variety of attractions. For first-time visitors, I highly recommend visiting the must-see places, such as Meiji Jingu Shrine, the Imperial Palace East Garden, the Tsukiji Fish Market, and Asakusa (Sensoji Temple). For Anime fans, Akihabara is the place to go. For those who prefer less-known spots, I’d be happy to introduce some hidden gems. As for food, if you’re interested in trying some great ramen, I’d be glad to take you to one of my favorite local spots for lunch. (For the Kamakura Tour) For a 6-hour itinerary, I recommend visiting the Great Buddha, Hase Temple, and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. On the way back to JR Kamakura Station, we can also stop by Komachi Shopping Street. If you’re interested in visiting Zen temples, I’d be happy to include them in the itinerary as well. This customizable tour worked really well for us and enjoyed the conversation throughout despite the heat! We went to the places we were most interested in iand received thorough explanations from An. She is very knowledgeable, flexible and kind, highly recommend her and would definitely love to tour again with her the places we did not have the time to visit if we’re back in Kamakura.

6 Hour Tour of Tokyo
We (four of us) had a great day with our tour guide An (Ando)! She was very informative and accommodating to our requests and prior experience in Tokyo. An was proactive in communicating before our tour and had all arrangements made well in advance. She was waiting for us at the meeting point and led us through many of the highlights of Tokyo. We walked, used the Metro and buses. I highly recommend this tour and the opportunity to explore Tokyo!

An is the best tour guide ever!! Atsuko (An) was very patient, friendly and passionate regarding helping my family and I learn about the Japanese culture and have a good time. She brought us to amazing places such as the iconic Senso-Ji Temple and other popular local destinations that would be very hard to find if you were traveling without a tour guide. Thanks to (An), my family and I felt very immersed in the authentic Japanese culture.
