Title: What's a Rainy-Day Private Walking Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Shibuya, and Meiji Shrine

The guests were a group of friends visiting from North America. Although it was raining from the morning, they enjoyed strolling through Kiyosumi Garden, including walking across the stepping stones along the pond. We took the subway to Asakusa, where I first talked about the Sumida River and the origins of Asakusa at Azumabashi Bridge, then explained Senso-ji Temple and the surrounding buildings from the rooftop terrace of the Culture and Tourism Center. After that, we walked along the approach from Kaminarimon Gate. The guests showed interest in Japanese sweets, enjoying treats such as ningyo-yaki and kinako dango, and also drew omikuji fortune slips as they explored. After praying at the main hall, the sushi restaurant we had planned to visit was either not yet open or closed for the day, so I introduced a ramen shop instead, which was very well received. We then took the subway to Shibuya Station, took photos at the Hachiko statue and the scramble crossing, and moved on to Meiji Shrine. We proceeded along the approach from the south gate, and I added explanations at key points such as the sake barrels and the grand torii gate before praying at the main shrine. After a rest at Forest Terrace, we left the shrine and ended the tour at the entrance to Takeshita Street.
