- 10.14:20～15:00 @ Asakusa (Nakamise, Sensoji Temple, Asakusa Shrine)
- 11. 15:00 Disband @ Asakusa
What Is a Private Tokyo Tour Like for Guests from Europe? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a multi-generational family group visiting from Europe. It was a gift trip for the group, and they mentioned that traveling to Japan has become popular in their home region recently.
The guests said that people in their region respect one another and have very good manners, which they felt is very similar to Japanese culture, so they found traveling in Japan very comfortable. Communication in English was no problem, and the tour proceeded smoothly. In particular, since a travel agency was involved and the itinerary had been fixed in advance, it was easy to manage.
I handed over some souvenirs, and the group was delighted with the ramen lunch in Shibuya, saying repeatedly how delicious it was.
That day was the Sumida River fireworks festival, so by around 15:00 the crowds were already growing. However, the guests wanted to look around the Asakusa area a little longer, so I explained only their return transportation and we parted ways in Asakusa.
Overall, I believe the guests enjoyed the tour very much.

We had a great time. Our guide Meiji “May” made our day memorable. Excellent sites and great food, May is very knowledgeable of the sites, has very good English and had very nice details during the tour. Ahh and he has all the nice spots for pictures identified. The restaurant he took us for lunch was excellent, we tried an amazing hoto udon.

We had an incredible time exploring Tokyo with our guide, May! He was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, making every stop interesting with fascinating stories and local insights. His enthusiasm for Tokyo was contagious, and he really helped us curate this tour to fit our interests and make it our own.
The tour was well organized and included a great mix of iconic sights and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. May also shared excellent recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and things to do after the tour, which made the rest of our stay even better. He even remembered that we were celebrating our honeymoon and helped us celebrate in a very memorable way, making the tour that much more special.
