Tour Itinerary in Detail

What's a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Palace, Senso-ji, Akihabara, and Shinjuku
The guests were a group from North America, visiting Japan for the first time. They planned to visit Kyoto and Osaka after sightseeing in Tokyo. At Meiji Shrine, they seemed impressed by the quiet and solemn atmosphere, which was very different from Shibuya. They also purchased a goshuin (shrine seal stamp) at Meiji Shrine. At the Imperial Palace, they listened with great interest to historical explanations about the role of the Emperor, the Meiji Restoration, and the Edo Shogunate. At Senso-ji, they listened with interest to explanations about the differences between temples and shrines and about the Kaminarimon Gate, and they also purchased a goshuin at Senso-ji. In Akihabara, they showed interest in the anime shops. After shopping in Shinjuku, they said they could return to their hotel on their own, so we parted ways in Shinjuku. Since I accommodated the guests' wishes as requested, I believe they were satisfied.

Seizo Kaminto is een uitstekende gids. De metro van Tokio is een doolhof en zonder hem zou ik een hoop tijd verloren hebben, we bezochten de highlights en Seizo wist overal wat te vertellen. Het tempo lag wel hoog en het was warm maar Seizo wist ook waar we een frisse pint konden drinken. Kortom ik ben zeer tevreden.
