What's a Full-Day Private Walking Tour of Tokyo's Gardens and Temples Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from Europe who planned to stay in Japan. Since they had sent requests in advance about the places they wanted to visit, I guided them accordingly. The guests were very fond of flowers and gardens, and they seemed to greatly enjoy strolling through Koishikawa Korakuen Garden. The Japanese irises were beginning to bloom, though I would estimate they were only about 30 percent open. I think they will likely reach their peak in about a week. After that, I guided them to the Imperial Palace, Nezu Shrine, and Senso-ji Temple, offering explanations about Japanese history, culture, and religion along the way. The temperature was a little on the higher side, but not enough to disrupt the itinerary, and I believe the guests were able to enjoy the day fully.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
