Over the course of the day the route took in Nippori station at 09:00, Nezu Shrine at 09:25, Yanaka walking at 10:05, Lunch Break at 10:45, Travel to Asakusa at 11:40, Senso-ji Temple at 12:10, Travel to Komagome at 12:55, Rikugien Garden at 13:30, Travel to Shibuya at 14:10 and Shibuya Crossing at 14:40.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Nezu to Asakusa by train (210JPY); Asakusa to Komagome by train (380JPY); Komagome to Shibuya by train (260JPY). Across 3 sections the fare came to 850JPY per person.

The guests were a group visiting from North America who had already been in Japan for a few days and mentioned that they were getting used to Tokyo. We met in Nippori and I guided them toward the Yanaka area. They said they enjoyed walking through such quiet places. At Nezu Shrine, they listened with great interest as I shared the historical background. In Asakusa, we took our time exploring. At Rikugien Garden, they thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful garden in its very peaceful atmosphere.

It was our first time to Japan. Mitch was a great guide, recommending the key sights in Tokyo. He contacted us before the trip so that he could set up an itinery that worked for our family. Mitch was a fantastic tour guide. He was very polite and knew the city very well, so there wasn’t a lost minute in our day. He asked me what my preferences were so he could customize my itinerary, and it was great! I was taken to see some hidden gems out of the traditional touristic circuits (and for that Im really thankful). I feel I learnt a lot about the history and culture of Japan, and I got to listen to many good anecdotes from Mitch. I also had a great soba for Lunch, in a very small and cozy restaurant. Arigatou gosaimasu, Mitch!

We had a fantastic day with our guide Mitch, he was very knowledgeable, a kind man & very generous with his time.
Mitch suggested sushi train for lunch pleasing our granddaughter greatly.
I would recommend Mitch for any type of tour, given he has excellent English.
