What Is a Private Tokyo Day Tour Like on a Rainy Day? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from North America. Although the weather was unfortunately rainy, at times turning into heavy downpours, I guided them according to the plan we had arranged in advance. Taking advantage of the fact that each site was less crowded than usual due to the rain, I maintained a positive attitude, pointing out that the fewer visitors made for a calmer, more relaxed sightseeing experience. The guests showed no signs of dissatisfaction and appeared to enjoy themselves. Additionally, the subway we took toward Tsukiji after meeting in the morning was as crowded as a commuter rush, but the guests took even this positively, saying they were able to experience a packed Japanese train.
