Title: What Is a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Tokyo Station, and Shibuya

The guests were a group visiting from Oceania. Since walking was difficult for one of the guests, I planned the tour carefully to use elevators and minimize walking as much as possible. We started from Shibuya Station on the first Ginza Line train, securing seats before heading to Asakusa, and during the ride I explained an overview of Japanese history and the difference between shrines and temples. In Asakusa, after explaining Senso-ji Temple and the surrounding buildings at the culture and tourism center, we strolled along Nakamise from Kaminarimon, stopping to buy souvenirs along the way. For lunch we visited a Japanese restaurant, where they enjoyed miso soup and karaage very much. At Tokyo Station, we took photos in front of the station building, and viewed the distant Imperial Palace from the observation deck of the Marunouchi Building. We had planned to go to Shinjuku Gyoen next, but as it turned out that they would visit there on a tour two days later, we changed the plan to Shibuya on short notice. We took photos in front of the Hachiko statue and the scramble crossing near the station, then I saw them off to their hotel in Shinjuku via the Yamanote Line, ending the tour.
