What Is a Private Accessible Walking Tour with a Licensed Guide Like? A Guide's Report

The guests were friends visiting from North America. Since I had confirmed in advance that one of the guests used an electric wheelchair, I researched and selected a safe and efficient step-free route beforehand. As they wished to enjoy gardens, a Japanese shrine, and shopping, I guided them to a shrine and a garden within an easy walking distance from their hotel. For lunch, I took them to a soba restaurant that had an elevator and was wheelchair accessible. Afterward, since they had lost a cane and wanted to buy one, I guided them to a cane shop and several other wheelchair-accessible stores selling souvenir sake, plush toys, and hair ornaments. I saw them safely back to the hotel at 16:00 and concluded the tour. They said they had a wonderful time, and it would be my greatest pleasure if they were satisfied.
