Title: What's a Full-Day Private Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa, Ueno, and Yanaka
Body: The guests were visiting from North America, and this was the final day of a two-month journey that had included several other countries. I had been told beforehand that one of the guests had a knee concern but was fine with stairs. Although one of the guests mentioned some health issues and planned to see a doctor after returning home, they were very strong and never showed any sign of discomfort during the tour. At their request to walk the Sumida River Walk, we crossed from the Tokyo Skytree side on foot to Asakusa. They had already visited many temples and shrines, but they still prayed carefully and respectfully at each one. Since they were not very hungry, for lunch they enjoyed dango and shaved ice from a stand in Ueno Park. In Asakusa and Yanaka, they bought souvenirs such as gauze towels, a furoshiki cloth, a rice bowl, a coffee cup, and kokeshi dolls. They had already visited Japanese gardens in Fukuoka and Kyoto, but they also enjoyed Rikugien Garden. They were looking forward to the teppanyaki dinner they had reserved for the evening. I saw them off at Kinshicho Station, where their accommodation was located, and the tour came to an end.

Our wonderful guide, Takako, took us on a tour of Tokyo. She helped us create a plan based on our interests and was flexible when we needed to change the itinerary a bit due to extreme heat. She was friendly, informative, and helpful. We enjoyed learning about Japanese culture and history from Takako, and we saw amazing temples and ate delicious sushi. I highly recommend this tour and Takako as a guide!

We had an amazing day with Takako. Takako got in contact prior to our tour to create the perfect itinerary. She collected us from our hotel and helped us get our travel cards and showed us how to use the public transport. Takako altered our tour and took us to Harajuku Takeshite street, which our teenagers really enjoyed. Takako was really informative and friendly and made the day really enjoyable. We would have no hesitation in booking her again. Takako showed us more in 6 hours than we would have seen in a week if left to our own devices. Thanks Takako and we will watch The Transporter!
