Tour Itinerary in Detail
Over the course of the day the route took in Tsukiji Market at 9:30, Asakusa (lunch) at 11:40, Shibuya crossing at 13:40 and Tokyo International Cruise Terminal at 15:00.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Tokyo International Cruise Terminal to Tsukiji Market by train (510JPY); Tsukiji to Asakusa by train (210JPY); Asakusa to Shibuya by train (260JPY); Shibuya to Tokyo International Cruise Terminal by train (570JPY). Across 4 sections the fare came to 1,550JPY per person.

The guests were a pleasant group, and since we spent a long time on the train, we chatted a great deal. It was an enjoyable tour to guide, but because the travel time was long, we were unable to visit Harajuku as originally planned. The cruise ship was scheduled to depart at 4:00, so we could not extend the tour either. I was glad that the guests understood the situation.
I reflected that tours picking up at the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal should be planned with the long travel time in mind. I will be careful about this going forward.
