What's a Full-Day Private Walking Tour of Tokyo Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from North America. The tour was originally planned for a larger group, but some of the guests remained at the hotel that day. Since walking and taking the subway from the meeting point to the next destination would have taken about the same amount of time, I asked their preference, and they chose to walk. While guiding them around Ginza and chatting along the way, I learned that one of the guests loved cars, so I spontaneously took the group to a nearby Nissan showroom, and they were delighted, which was wonderful. Also, during a meal at Tsukiji, I talked about the characteristics of sashimi knives and other Japanese cooking tools, which seemed to spark their interest. Afterward, some of the guests listened very attentively to the shop staff at a store selling knives and cooking utensils and purchased a number of items. In the latter half of the tour, since it was the day before they returned home after a trip, some of the guests seemed quite tired, so I guided them at a slightly slower pace. They were moved by the azaleas at Rikugien Garden and enjoyed the everyday atmosphere of Japan at Yanaka Ginza, and they told me they were glad they had come, which made me happy as well.

Yuiko was a great guide for our day in Tokyo.
We had a great day of guided Tokyo experiences. Yuiko was our guide and she was wonderful. She did everything possible to make sure that we got everything we wanted from our day. She was also very warm, friendly, and caring. She did a lot of prep to make our day efficient, but was also flexible. Our first stop was the Tsukiji Fish Market. She offered that we could take the train or a 20 minute walk from our hotel. We opted to walk, which allowed us to walk through Ginza as well. We stopped by the Nissan showroom and our son loved that.

Tripadvisor review: Tokyo 6hr Private Tour with Government-Licensed Guide
This was a wonderful tour. My guide, Yui, was knowledgeable, gracious and friendly. She know many important details about Japan and the places we visited. She also took me to an excellent soba restaurant for lunch where I had delicious food and learned the proper way to eat soba. The tour was originally supposed to include my husband, however he was ill. Yui took it all in stride and provided me with a wonderful tour. It was almost like visiting three besieged city of Tokyo with a friend. It was truly an exceptional experience.
