What Is a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Asakusa and Harajuku
Since there had been almost no communication beforehand and we had not been able to discuss the itinerary, I confirmed the schedule with the guests when we met in the morning. The guests had prepared a list of six to seven places they wanted to visit, so I advised on which places would be better to save for the next day, and we departed from the hotel. It was a hot day, exceeding 30°C from the morning and rising above 35°C during the day, but as the guests were from Asia, we were able to proceed through the itinerary without any problems. At Senso-ji Temple, when I explained about Bishamonten, Daikokuten, and Benzaiten among the Seven Lucky Gods, who have roots in Asia, they listened attentively with great interest. In Harajuku, the guests fully enjoyed the crepes they had been looking forward to, and since we were able to visit all the planned places, I believe they were satisfied.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
