Title: What's a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour of Asakusa, Hamarikyu, and Meiji Shrine Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from North America, and it was their first trip to Japan. They had arrived the day before, planned to stay in Tokyo for about five days, and would then board a cruise. After visiting three places in Japan (Aomori, Hakodate, and Sapporo), they planned to continue by ship to Canada and Alaska, for a trip of about 35 days in total.

[Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guide led a private one-day tour covering Asakusa, Hamarikyu Gardens, and Meiji Shrine. The guests listened attentively to my explanations and responded well, making them very easy to guide. Perhaps because it rained from the morning, Asakusa, which is usually crowded, was not so busy. Since they did not eat much raw fish, including sushi, we chose a restaurant that seemed to offer plenty of options for lunch. They ordered katsudon and a chicken teriyaki set, and both were enjoyed as delicious. In the afternoon we visited Hamarikyu Gardens and Meiji Shrine. At the Forest Terrace of Meiji Shrine, while I was explaining how to get back to the hotel, I received a clip, a postcard, and a tip. The guests seemed very satisfied with the tour. We ended the tour at JR Harajuku Station.
