What Is a Private Full-Day Tokyo Tour Like for European Guests? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Europe. Since one of them had difficulty walking, I made sure to keep the pace slow throughout the tour. Only one person in the group understood English well, while the others understood only a little, so communication was quite challenging. I felt that in the future I would need to be more resourceful, such as by using a voice translation app. For the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine, and explanations about Japanese history, one of the guests kindly interpreted from English into their own language for the others. At Tsukiji Market, everyone wanted to eat together, so they enjoyed ramen, tempura, and beer at the food court in the Tsukiji Uogashi. In Shibuya they experienced the famous Crossing, and then we returned to Asakusa, where I explained how to get back to their accommodation and we parted ways in front of Sensoji Temple. They were a cheerful and lively group. As we had walked quite a lot, they seemed tired by the end.
